Depends what knife you are holding! :D I have a WTC-knife that i even never opened once! You should develop muscle memory in that thumb so you will do the opening without actively thinking about it. It takes about 2000 repetitions to build this muscle memory, so you can develop it in a week. after the 2000 openings your knife will be slick and it will feel like second nature to open and close it. :)

Spyderdropping is probably the fastest way to open a Spydercoknife. Faster, but with less control then thumbaction only.

To Spyderdrop your spyderco knife, you pinch your blade with your indexfinger and thumb together "thrue" the spyderhole. Now you can flick the knife open with a quick twist of the wrist. Of course the bigger the handle and the heavier the handle the more easy it gets, due to larger momentum. This manipulation technique is one of the "secret" signs we have to see if someone is a thru :spyder: lover or an imposter :D

By telling you this i like to introduce you to the rest of the :spyder: forumites as a "friend of ours". :D

Now you have become an officially :spyder: Forumite.

:)
