A Quick Note
Just edited my original post, but thought I’d also make a note here. Only one guess per member. Sorry I didn’t put this in at the beginning.
First they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not stand up, because I was not a Trade Unionist.

could just be my math... but isn't 57 closer to 55 than 41 is? see post #5 in this thread. :p

Sorry vampyrewolf, but the reason I put in the "without going over" clause was in case someone guesed 1 under, while at the same time someone guessed 1 over. I did this to aviod a "tie-breaker".ghostrider wrote:My 1000th post has come, and tradition calls for a contest. I thought that since I recently wrote a review on the Crossbill, that it would be a fitting prize for my “1000th post contest”. It is a PE, and new, although the box didn’t survive the shipping so well.
The contest is simple. It will run from the time of this posting until either someone correctly guesses the number, or, if nobody guesses within the allotted time, until August 20 at the time of this posting. At that time, if nobody has correctly guessed, whoever is closest, without going over will be the winner. I have picked a number between 1 and 250. The first person to guess the number wins. Sorry to say that I don’t have the knowledge, nor the desire to do something fancy like one of those random number programs, so you’ll just have to trust that I am being honest.
Good luck.
