Does this forum have a way to do 'stickies'?

If your topic has nothing to do with Spyderco, you can post it here.

Does this forum have a way to do 'stickies'?

It would be good to have a "Welcome to the forums, here's some recommendations for knives" that stayed at the top of the on-topic forum. I know I asked the same type of question with my first post as most seem to: Which Spydie should I buy first?

You can use the search option, of course, but if it was a planned thread, maybe a forumite who likes, say, hawkbills, could get first shot at explaining what the advantages are, etc. Maybe the first 10 or so posts could be planned out, then let everyone add in as they want.

Any thought?

"Welcome to the Spyderco Forum""

BBRex, this would be a good idea, as would a "sticky" Hi, I'm new to the forum" thread. A lot of general questions could be answered, quickly, with the suggestion to start a new tread for more specific Q's. Also, some of the features could be explained like the search function.
This is not to suggest that the "Welcome" sticky thread should take on the flavor of RTFM (Read the F#*^ING Manual), but just a courtious explanation of the forum and how to use it.
Good idea!

well this forum really doesent have any moderators that are always on. Everybody has a different need for knives, so it is ok that everybodys asks because there is a tailored answer for everybody.
