Aloha ALL!
I got ordered back due to staff shortage again. I am on suicide watch, so i gotta go. Funny thing is, the inmate on suicide watch is the 230+ pounder that I flung a few months back! He's sleeping right behind me in a cage as I write this...
He was happy to see me though... okay, gotta run. Just wanted to say Hi to you all who are "outside the walls"!
Four hours and 20 minutes to go...
God bless

Well at least it sounds like an easy assignment, at least as long as he's sleeping. Hope he snores, makes it easier to be sure he's still got a pulse.

Doing a bit of reading..."Why Believe?" by Roger Carswell. Got this book from some great folks in the UK. :D
I am hanging in there...main thing the inmate I am watching doesn't "hang in there"!!!
Two hours and eight minutes...I hope!
God bless

Has it's moments...This is one of the better ones. Still cannot figure out how these higher ups justify putting a guard on another 8+ on Suicide Watch...
God bless
Keep smiling!

Chad you are always in my prayers Sir. I know your plight can be a rather heavy load at times but I am 1000% certain that there is something much better down the road for you that will make all of this worthwhile. Chad we really need decent people like you in positions like yours to keep the light shinning in areas where it doesn't shine a great deal of the time. You always have a friend here Sir. Hey just remember you are supposed to be at next year's Blade show and I am counting on seeing you there

:spyder: GOD Bless and GOD Speed to you Sir :)

Hi Chad,
Sounds like today isn't as bad as your recent experience. Glad to hear it. Prayers sent. Seems you can check in on line while doing the watch. That's a benifit, strength in numbers.

God be with ya bro.
Say, so do you have a lot of computers with internet access in the joint?
Just curious as I know nothing about the joint.
Also, ever alowed to take any pics of anything inside the joint?
Peace bro,
David

Hi ghostrider!
Yes...FAR from it! Only thing is, prior to having to do Suicide watch, I was the TA/Sgt at another housing unit, fight broke out in the female unit and man did I have a ton of paperwork to do...mentally draining. THEN I was told that I had to do Suicide...that completed the circle: Physically draining. Read a good Christian book (and of course checking this place now and then :p ) and that equated to Spiritually refreshing! :)
However, I just got home not too long ago, so i gotta shower and eat some real food!
God bless and thanks

Mahalo David!
No, where I had to watch the Suicide guy was back at our intake area. That's the ONLY place that has a computer with internet access, and I am rarely there.
David...the less you know about "the joint" the better for you buddy!
Pics are definitely NOT allowed "within the walls"...Outside, yes. Inside, they consider it a security breach. Now try to figure this out: A few years back, the Warden allows the local paper to take a pic of one of the CO's standing next to the Control Panel that made front page?!! Tells ya the types of higher ups we got in admin for sure! :p
God bless you man
