Today was a great :spyder: Spyderco :spyder: day ;) .
I got a Yellow Salt 1 PE, Dragonfly SE and a more then needed Sharpmaker 204, which i already put to use with great success, from my favorite online dealer NGK.
They are gonna fit perfect with my other Spydies: SS Police SE, Military PE, Gunting PE, FRN Endura PE and a PE Jester. I couldn't be happier :D

But i need more! Next is the Manix then Civilian, Chinook, Delica, Moran,... Man, the more i read this forum and its knives reviews, the more Spydies i want.  :D

My Salt has a number 102V beside the Salt 1 sign on the blade. What does this number mean?

I can't say enough how i like my new Salt. It’s small but fits perfect in my hand. Its razing sharp and in beautiful yellow color. No blade blade play and very strong built. I love its 14mm hole and serrated ramp to prevent thumb slipping.
I like it so much its gonna be my ''free time'' EDC. I am leaving for my vacation tomorrow and i got me a perfect diving and hiking companion
Anyone knows, if there are any strict knife laws in Greece?

Gamo,

Welcome to the forum! :D

Indeed a good Spydie day you've had. One qustion. You seem to be fond of PE, so why go SE in the Dragonfly?

As far as Greek laws are concerned, have a look at this thread from British Blades, it may answer some your questions.

God bless,

thnx Simon G!

I like PE knives mostly because they are easier to sharpen (not a problem anymore, now that i have a Sharpmaker) and because IMO they are more suitable for everyday choirs.

Strictly for self-defense i prefer serrated edge. Dragonfly will be on my keychain and will be there strictly for self-defense use. IMO serrated knives have more cutting ability. For a small knife like the Dragonfly having its fullest SD potential, i see SE edge a more reasonable choice.

My main SD EDC is PE Military (90%), PE Endura (usually in my LF pocket) or the PE BM710HS. If i could also afford them in CE and SE i'd surly buy them all :D

The number 102V means it is a numbered knife reserved to collectors. the V is for "Variant". The original (102) was probably SE, as the V is PE. Collectors have to buy all the numbered piece that gets out of the factory with their number on it, but not all the variants...
And the 204 is a must... Good choice...
