I saw this wire framed knife and fell in love with it. I was wondering if anyone know were I can get one. It struck me as odd for this site not mention this knife, why is that?

Dude,

The knife was discontinued. It never made it as an SKU item on the Spyderco Catalog. Seen it going on sale on www.knifecenter.com ~ Happy hunting! <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

I bought the "R" as a collector piece; however, due to its slim and lightweight handle I would think that it would also make a good EDC. The only concern I have is the maintenance that may be necessary to clean and lubricate the numerous cutouts in the blade as well as handle. I, too, would appreciate comments from anyone who happens to carry this knife on a regular basis.

Why did they discontinue the "Q" and "R" model anyway? Please tell me there isn't something wrong with these models. I just bought a "Q" yesterday
