The First...Gift

What was the First Spyderco you ever bought for someone and gave as a gift? What was the first Spyderco you ever received as a gift? The first I ever received as a gift was a Blue FRN Serrated Delica and the first I ever gave as a gift was a Black FRN Serrated Delica. The first gift was received from my father and I gave the same to my son. My son lost the one I bought him so I gave him his grandfather's knife under the condition that he someday will give it to his son....I originally had my dad's initials and my own inscribed on the blade, my son has added his...I Thought the whole idea would make a nice family tradition...Doc

Well, I haven't yet to give it, or buy it for that matter, but the first one I'll give is one of the rescue style blades to my sister, an EMT.

As for getting as a gift...anyone I own, I bought for myself.

Come to think of it, I believe the first :spyder: I ever received as a gift was pretty recent -- my wife got me a Dodo for Easter.

The first knife i gave as a gift was a G-10 Navigator for my wife , now she likes knifes too, but she prefers the smaller ones.
The first Spydie I got as a gift was a Native 2 from my wife.

Gave a PE meerkat to a friend last week...it was the first meerkat I ever bought & it was quite loose; so I fixed it and gave it to him. I sold him a merlin, too, when he found out I was a :spyder: 'knut
