Cindy Brogan turned 1 today!

#1

Post by thombrogan »

I can't believe it, but my daughter just turned a year old today. She's so much taller and has developed so many strengths and skills over the past 365 days, but she'll always be the little peanut we took home from the hospital to me. She outgrew her :spyder: onesies, but I may make her more :spyder: clothes in the future (only with permission, of course).

Happy Birthday, Cindy!

Is it weird for a 1 year old girl to have several Spyderco knives in her collection?

Congratulations man. My daughter will be two in a few days. Kids are amazing and special.

I wish you and your family the best that God can offer.

Congratulations Thom and happy birthday to little Cindy.

It is absolutely normal for a one year old to have a collection of Spydercos. :D

Thanks, everyone!

CKE,

Your family is about due for a blessing soon, too. Is it less than a month now?

Fisher of Men,

Please give your daughter my family's blessing for her second birthday.

JD Spydo,

The first knife I got her was a pink ladybug.

Easyrider,

Thanks. She'll also get my 2001 705BC1HSCF and its G2 sheath. :D

Thom,
That's great. I hope she has a great birthday, cake and all :D . My daughter will be 12 in June. Time flies, I hope you're spending as much time as you can enjoying it.
As for Spydies. My daughter keeps asking when can she get one. Since her brothers got their spydies around 13yrs. she only has a short wait.

Congrats Tom, and Happy B-day to Cindy.
First they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not stand up, because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Congradulations Thom, our children are the single most important responsibility that we shall ever be given. Every day that I spend with mine is truly a blessing. Wish your daughter a Happy Birthday from the Taylor family. Happy Birthday Cindy and cheers.

My friend, I wish you many wonderful years ahead with your daughter. Mine is almost seven and exposes me with a new facet of her personality daily.

Hang on, the ride will be interesting... :p

Thanks, everyone!

Cindy ate and wore her cake yesterday, but we blew out the candle for her. She got a bunch of Weebles, some really cool spheres that make all sorts of loud noises, fishies and a fishing net for bath time, a Mr. Potato Head, and money towards her future. The real birthday parties are this Saturday and May Day.

On the day before her birthday, we travelled to the Rainforest Cafe in occupied Massachusetts. Some pics can be seen here.

Thanks for the pics Thom. Very sweet. Parenthood is a lot of fun. I have 3 myself. 2 boys, 3 and 7 and one girl 5. Apple of my eye. :D

Tell her Happy Birthday! from Down South.

Incidentally, my little girl turned 1 on the 13th.
She shares her birthday with my grandmother.
