Yeah folks, its only two-months away from Christmas and another three months before Samo turns a year older! And after sifting through the sack of goodies from :spyder: for 2005, Samo's got his sights on a Yellow Pacific Salt, probably a Manix or a Black Miliatry if its ever made in Plain Edge.. :D What is yours?

Since I limit myself to only the knives I need, I doubt that I will get another knife next year. Ok I might need a cricket or military or ...

I definitley plan on getting a Chinook II in the near future. Also I really hope a left handed Military will come out some time soon! The Manix looks pretty nice, might have to pick up one of them too. I'm sure Sal will come up with a few more excellent creations this year that I just can't live without. :D

Hi Sam,

Manix is a head of list, if only because I figure it will be the first of the new ones available. With any luck may get to carve a pumpkin with one, if not, at least a turkey. :)

Kopas, in both the "flavors" shown and any others Sal may add

Yellow Pacific, really do need a yellow Spyderco (good an excuse as any) :D

Atlantic, but only if someone convinces Sal that the world needs a PE version, or better still, a PE version in yellow ;)

Navigator II, appears not to have made the catalog, but still hoping for an '05 release on this one, after all, Sal said the majic words "bolsters and scales" :D :D :D

Bison, even though the visions of hugeness conjured up by that name make me think it will spend more time in the kitchen than in the pocket.

In older stuff...

Hoping to track down PE baby and full size micarta Goddards to keep "junior" company.

Still looking for a PE Remote Release and PE Snap-It EMT.

Any other Spydies that tickle my (easily tickled) fancy.

Surgeon,

Based on the similarities of the two models I've been guessing that the price for the Manix will be about the same as that for the Chinook II. Asking price for the CE collectors numbered one that's up for sale over on BladeForums suggests I'm probably not too far off with that guess.

Pacific Salt - I must test that H1; An Endura and/or Paramilitary; A Cricket; and a Moran Drop Point.

I have eyes for the Para-Military. However, with finances the way they are, I'm not expecting one anytime soon. :(

Thanks Chad but I don't think it will happen. We let that one go... and settled for another ;)

OTOH, the black Millie in PE is a real beauty. I think I know what's on the wishlist, he, he :) And maybe a Cricket or a Dragonfly.
