IWB Carry
Good afternoon. I am curious to know how many of you out there carry your Spyderco IWB. What have you found to be the advantages or disadvantages of this method of carry? Have you noticed a great deal of moisture damage to the blade or steel inner workings? I really would appreciate some feedback on this. I am finding it difficult to decide on a carry method. I am not a huge fan of clipping it inside my pocket. Too out of place for a business suit.

IWB means clipped inside the waistband, usually just to the right of the belt buckle, in the area of the "appendix". It is a very "discrete" carry, not readlily visible. It can be uncomfortable, depending on the contours of the knife (and your body). I carry there frequently due to it's "discreteness".
I've had good luck carrying Spydies there, such as the Endura, Viele, Native, and even for a large knife, the Military.
Experiment with your various knives IWB. It takes a bit of experience. Good luck.

I've carried IWB for years and love it. It is very "discrete" and an easy draw. My Spyderco of choice is the C-07S Police done in Blak-Ti. I find the SS models more comfortable then the G10 ones. Plus they "Draw" much better.

I carry IWB on duty every day, either a Military or a Mouse (a heck of a pair, I know!) That's ten hours at a clip, under a trouser belt and a gun belt. I've never had any trouble. Over the years I've done the same with a Hunter, Native, Rookie, Standard and a couple others I can't even remember.
In the warm weather, with a kevlar vest I've been known to sweat (a bit <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>) Never had even a spot of rust, though I use my knife enough that it gets washed frequently.
If my S&W "stainless" .38 (which I also used to carry IWB) had been as rust resistant as my Spydies I wouldn't have traded it in for a Glock 26.
