Mine just arrived, # 059. Very nice production knife. Great handle, very comfortable, edge sharpness is outstanding! Hats off to Mike JanichMike Snody& Spyderco! One thing I noticed, is that they seem to have made opening alot smoother than the other compression lock knives they make. Let me knowwhat you think!

I guess the collectors get theirs first. I'm not one, but I did pre-order mine from NGK literally about a year ago, so I ought to be towards the front of the line for the regular shipments. Can't wait!
Well, can't wait any longer, anyway ;-)

Blade5 is right, the opening is super smooth and the blade is scary sharp....and I mean SHARP!!! Lock up is solid. I do find that the finger choil is a little big for my index finger...the choil was smaller on the Ronin. The handle on the Ronin fit my hand better than the Yojimbo, but the Yojimbo is still a comfortable grip (I do have small hands though). Blade5, what is your opinion????

Eric, have collected & carried customs for a long while now, and have finally found a production knife I like and will carry. Been looking for a 3" or less folder with good handle size for a long time! Being 6'4" & 250lbs it surprised me that the handle fit so well, the choil is just right for me. If future Spyderco's are af Yojimbo quality, I just might have to re-think my collecting habits! Now I have to find a custom leather sheath, with something embosed on it, any ideas? As for Donutsrule,I just happened to pre-order from a diffent source, if its helps, I payed full retail, you won't!

Thanks! Can someone post a picture here and/or at Bladeforums when they get a chance. I think the only pics so far have been of prototypes.

I received Yojimbo #19 last Friday. Great knife! I will retire this one to my collection due to it's low number. Guess I'll have to buy another for daily carry.

I have mine, I've retired everything I use to use for EDC, luckily for me no serial number ;o).
Michael,
Congratulations! This knife rocks! It's absolutely everything I imagined and knew it would be, just an awesome design!

My major oversight! I totally forgot to congratulate and thank Sal and the entire Spyderco crew, so congratulations and thank you! It is my opinion that the Yojimbo is within the list of top 10 Spyderco knives ever produced for overall quality and design.

I just got mine, and I'm very happy with it. It's replacing the Gunting as my "carry everywhere" knife.
One site of the blade says "Golden Colorado USA Earth." I guess Spyderco has some ambitious plans for future expansion!
