anyone want to donate to the "sven is poor and won't see that kind of money or that many knives for quite some time" fund?

Nicky,
Not worth it??? That's about $60.00 per serial numbered Spydie currently. I can see an Evo Set, possible Klotzli-Walker, Terzuoulas, Goddards, Sheepfoot Q, R's, Ti Lum folder, Centofantes, Kraton Civvy, Blue Native, Blanchard Hunter, Spyderench, yellow Catcherman, and a C27 Jess Horn for starters. Plus the necklace knife looks a lot like a abalone Mini-Mariner. And a Sharpmaker - did they serialize THOSE for the CC members too????
You're a hard nut to impress, Nicky.
Someone with some ducats will have a dandy matched serial collection. My hazel eyes are green with envy.....

Having looked at it again, the top one might be an Almite Worker, the one 2nd from the top a Michael Walker Lightweight...

Just an FYI, I sent a message to the auctioneer shortly after this auction listed and asked if it did not sell would he consider selling a few of the knives to me. He replied back that he was not going to break up the # collection at all that it would lose value. Silly, I would think he could probably rake in more going individual on some of those knives! Anyhow, I don't think anyone is crazy enough to spend $5000 with as you all notice hardly any feedback. Laterz!

I dont like the fact that the auction make it sound like this was a special set put togather by spyderco. Please correct me if I am wrong but this is just part of someone collection in the collectors club with number 83?

The Civilian looks a little like it is brushed instead of tufram coated? But some others look similiar maybee it is Tufram.

What can I say, that is an amazing collection. But I think three knives in one week are enough for this girl. Have a great evening Kali

Well, this is THE LAST ( for now, LMAO- a woman can always change her mind, as you all know ) I purchased the Karambit. A beautiful knife. The first one I'll own that doesn't have a serrated edge. This is damned addicting!!!! Kali (but I'm not complaining) Also, I wanted to mention, when I received my Harpy, I was given a Ladybug as a little gift. That thing slices through paper like butter. Amazing little knife. Kali

Aloha All!
Good eye Ted, as I too was wondering about the ones you were...Still cannot make out the bottom two ya squared out...the bottom one has klotzli lines to it...the one above it, I have NO idea. Could they be Moki's or Sakai's?

I agree Daywalker,
The bottom looks like that Klotzli-Walker collaboration. I know the SFO sold them in their old store.
RE: Breaking up the collection... I think this guy wants to avoid the unending hassle of posting a gazillion knives, having some people not pay, etc.
As to worth, it's high, but if you check ebay prices on some of these pieces (any unusual Q, R, Ti Police, Evo set), you could easily fetch close to a grand for those alone.
The guy either sold off a lot of PE, or had the option for main collector pieces only. Looks to me like 70%+ might be SE. Nonetheless, awesome starter kit with some real rarities like original Alumuinum Centofante w/ green; Tufram Civilian.
