Free Holes

#1

Post by J Smith »

I thought I would bring this one back up for any new members.

I saw a while back that someone had asked about getting some of the holes that are cut out of the spydie blades and Spyderco replied that they would do it if someone agreed to distribute them.I never saw anything else about it so I emailed Joyce and asked if I could do it.She spoke with Sal and said yes but they have sharp edges and bits of metal still on them and needed to be cleaned up before being sent on.I said I would clean them up and now they are on the way to me.

So if anyone wants some, not sure what I can send to each forumite until I see whats in the package.Best case would be one small, med, and large.

All I ask is that if you want some please send me a self addressed, stamped, padded envelope,2 stamps on it should cover it and post here that you want them.

Please give Joyce and the Spydie crew a big thank you for makeing this happen.

I will post my address so you can send me the SASE.I can't think of any reason not to post it.If you know someones name you can get there address in seconds on the net.If anyone knows any reason for me not to post my address please let me know.

I really wish I could cover the shipping of them too but I expect there will be tons of interest in these.

The ones I have are all the same size, look like they came from the Natives.I have asked about the cutouts from the Military,I will update this if I can get some of them.

Jeff,

Must have missed this first time around. At any rate, I did a double take wondering why you were advertising a free nothing. But then I had to remember that a fishing net was nothing but a bunch of holes sewn together.

I'll take you up on the offer and see if there's something in the goody bag for ya.....

These are the steel disks that are left over after the hole has been cut.

Man, I knew that there was something that I had wanted to ask you about during our last deal....

I'll send a SASE this weekend for a few of the Holes, Jeff. (Preferably one each of the small, med. and large, if possible) Thanks.

KBR,I thought about that but somehow I had thought that you got some.I would have sent you some then if I had known.I have sent out so many I can't remember whos got them and who hasn't.
Right now I only have one size but Joyce emailed me today and said that a bag is on its way with differant sizes in it.I should have it by the time your SASE gets here.

Jeff, did you ever get that other bag of goodies from Joyce? I've been so busy that I completely forgot to send the SASE last week. I'll be sure to send one out tomorrow.
