How effective is the Tri-Angle Sharpmaker?

And how easy is it to use? I'm really considering one, as I've got a few knives that could use a touch-up, but I'm worried that my admittedly pathetic sharpening abilities will do more harm than good. How effective is the set when used properly, and how easy is it to use properly?

Having NEVER used a proper sharpener before, I managed to get my pocketknives sharpened very easily with the Sharpmaker.
It comes with a video to help too.

I used to sharpen on a wetstone and still do for my straight razor (just works better on that IMO), but since I have the sharpmaker, that's what I use for knives.
It's easy as cake and the instruction manual is augmented by a video that features Sal Glesser presenting the thing.
Get it.

OK, thanks for the help, all. I'll pick one up when I get my next paycheck. :D

I've got the 204, just use it on serrations.
Personally I prefer whetstones, have for 15yrs.
