I went out and measured Sunflowers which are close to same height. With tape measure they are at 12 foot , hope the heads will be big so far it too early to make a good guess .Dan

There is no image except my mental one.

About this time of year in 2003
I turned west in South Dakota,
into the setting sun.
A hillside of blindingly beautiful sunflowers
filled the rearview mirrors of my Yamaha V-Max.

I had ridden more than 600 miles
the day before departing Houston
and another 500 miles this day.
The desire to stop and take a photograph
was only exceeded by my desire
to reach Kadoka,
get off that motorcycle
and have a cold beer.

This picture is a close second
and will have to be a stand-in.

That’s beautiful. There’s a sunflower farm near me. It’s awesome until they all lay over.
