I’m probably going to try to get one of those newer XD-M-E 10mm 3.8” subcompacts soon. 11+1 and 15+1 of bear stopping power, yes please. Got my dealer looking for one.

15 rounds of 10MM is bad business Josh!
The F.B.I. shouldve never got away from the 10MM.

Can anyone here recommend a good scope or optic of some kind for an AR…
It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. I prefer under $200 if such a thing exists which I doubt. (200 yards and less)

Check out Vortex. Namely their Strikefire II Red Dot 4MOA.
Vortex has the best warranty in the business too. Well, I think Leupold does too but, Vortex is very affordable.
Of course you may be able find the Vortex Spitfire Prism. Both those would be perfect for you, imo.
Right now, I absolutely love the Holosun 510c Elite Green Dot ($330) - and worth every red cent!
50,000 hour battery life, shake awake and falls asleep after 10 minutes of no movement. Has solar power aside from the battery. Man, those features are just so worth the extra money. You don't have to worry about battery life. And, that shake awake is awesome. Just pick up your rifle and it's on. 10 minutes after use it automatically shuts down. Hope this helps ya.

Here's the last gun I bought a couple of weeks ago. A Colt Mustang Nitelite 380 ACP. Only 200 were made in 1993 through 1994:

And here's what she looks like after I fixed her up:

I like my Holosun hs403b. Can find them for $120 most of the time. Sig Sauer also rebrands them. Shake awake, long battery life, etc etc.

You cannot beat that price for those features!

'67 Vintage Gold Cup......if you ever decide to part with that ole gal.....😎
That would be awesome to have man...
Well, I'm broke again, Paul.
But, I think you'll appreciate this one. I was finally able to score a 1968 S Prefix Model 27- 2 w/ a 3.5" barrel.
And, she's just what I wanted Paul. I really wasn't looking for a NIB or Never Fired. I couldn't bring myself to shoot one. Instead, I was looking for a really, really, gently used one. And, I think I found it.
What's interesting is that these S Prefix models are supposed to be a little better polished than the N Prefix 27-2 guns. Actually, they are. Guys that have new versions of each say so. And, the shop that I got it from has outstanding feedback and many say he is the best on the business of those older Smiths - mainly for his ability to rate their condition. He said this one.was a conservative 97%. That's good enough for me.
Here's a pic. I hope to have it by next Wednesday.

That 27 is a beauty, and should make a great carry gun. Hope you have a lot of fun with it. Hear you on the "broke again", been there, done that. I think GunBROKEer chose their name well although Armslist does an even better job of emptying my wallet. As for my Gold Cup, sadly it's long gone. Sold it, and a few others I also regret parting with, back in the late 80's to help finance a house purchase.

It is good stuff, for sure! Went Holosun for the optic on my Arex Delta pistol as well (507k x2). So far so good!

1989 Colt King Cobra, purchased from my Friend that needed the funds for another project; updated the trigger/hammer springs with a kit from Wolff Springs (fired 150+ rounds reliably)...

Love the eye-candy, gun porn on this thread.

I made another gun pegboard in the form of a Texas flag
and wrote up the installations in detail on a Texas hunting forum.
My plan is to display knives on it.
If anyone is interested here is the link.

Very nice. I really like the wall control product and the Texas flag is just cool.

Josh, that German made Schmeisser 60 round magazine is really nice.
I really like the 40 round mags too.
