Getting into friction folders more. Love this one for herbs and other tasks around the kitchen like prying a lid from a tin or popping a bottle cap. Magna Cut to boot. From a local maker (JWKnives). Perfect for 5th jeans pocket. Pictured here with the winter-dead chives (thyme and rosemary still going strong despite cold and snow).

Trail now goes all the way down to the lake. Next step is bushcrafting some benches with a nice view of the water.

^ Those look really nice. I came close to ordering that smaller model in the past. Not familiar with the larger knife but the design looks solid.

On a different subject, I've heard a lot of people say don't close triad locks one handed, especially larger models with heavier blades. It's not 100% as intuitive as with the spyder hole but I adapted the same method I use on Pacific Salts, C95's etc. to work with thumbstuds. No issues closing a 4max or XL Voyager this way.

Thank, the larger knife is the Ursus 45 from White River. Only had it a few days. Just trying it out a bit. Handle is comfortable, 4.5” blade

I carried a 110 knockoff for years, long before I found Spyderco. I been meaning to try the rea thing for years also, but other knives come up again and again.

Let us know how you like it?

it's not the most comfortable knife, but it's good for fruits cutting and vintage-style photography πŸ˜…

I think the stock 110 has excellent ergos, balance, ease of sharpening and cool factor. Lacks easy one handed opening and closing, an easy pocket carry method and high end edge holding. Not a perfect EDC but it was my favorite knife to carry daily before I found Spyderco. Usually paired with a Victorinox of some sort.

Growing up, almost every red blooded American kid sported a Buck 110 in a black leather pouch on their belt. Almost mandatory dress code.......even for school attire.

I seriously don't need a third TS10, but that brass one is in the mail thanks to the sale! It has officially dethroned the D4V2

Went in a bit of a different direction today, this small Inkosi was begging for a little attention. It's not my favorite(a bit overly short and stout compared to a Sebenza) but it's a very fun little knife. Not pictured but also in pocket is my favorite small Sebenza with black micarta inlays and MagnaCut blade steel.
