Little 3v Bailout at .90" thick....I really like this knife.
Has the Axis Lock too

I concentrate most of my knife efforts on Spyderco and Victorinox. But this is a decent price (even here in the EU) for a steel that seems to be praised and a nice slim FFG blade that should be slicey.
Plus the red handle should feel quite Christmassey.
Thanks @Prndltech for the tip!

figured out what a recon tanto is good for.

Still got it in the pocket. I like everything about it. The blade is hard to beat.LeDe wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2023 11:47 amOrdered that same one yesterday!SaltyCaribbeanDfly wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2023 11:06 am

This one has been on the list awhile now. The handle works better for me than the Taggedout.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.
Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
I’ve carried it ever since I got it.
perfect handle for me, neutral, rounded/chamfered aluminum. Not a pocket shredder and easy to clean.
button lock that is dialed in to perfection. Snappy action, falls shut, no play.
.08” stock
.010” BTE measured when I got it. I’ve since sharpened it to about .008” BTE and have only touched it up once. It’s a lightsaber, but even with the factory bevel it was… AND THE THUMBSTUDS ARE NOT IN THE WAY OF THE CUTTING EDGE! Why manufacturers don’t understand this… blows my mind. It really does make cutting and sharpening much more enjoyable.
14c28n, which is an all time favorite EDC blade steel for me and so far in… a month and a half or so? it’s held up great.
I really dig this blade and I’m probably gonna pick up a 2nd or 3rd while I can. It’s been a long time since a knife has hit me like this.
For the price I still can’t believe it. If it was made by another company and double the price I’d believe it.

It's really thin, super light and that thin 3v is really, really nice.

The red one is $59 at Civivi and Amazon! Couldn't believe it.

That Civivi is tempting but I already have too many knives that are similar including this Altus
CIVIVI Altus Pocket Folding Knife with Button Lock and Thumb Stud Opener, 2.97" Damascus Blade Green Micarta Handle C20076-DS1 https://a.co/d/7ZGo9PL
Also Elementum, a few Ferrum Forge models, and a few Ray Laconico models.
Looks like a nice little knife for the price though

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
never took this folder seriously but I've been carrying it a lot the past week and I've started to appreciate the utility of such a long blade for an EDC.
Full arm swing chops and batoning 3-4" thick pieces of wood with the lock engaged are no issue. Zero play. The long cutting edge is great for slicing large cardboard boxes up, cutting bread, all sorts of things.
My Manix XL's feel small and light in comparison.
Makes me want to hunt down a Tatanka to try.

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
Thank you Vivi for the heads up on probably the best $25 I’ve ever spent…the SRK-C is really good so far…it’s a no brainer for camping trips
Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
**** yeah! nice color combo too. I've got one of those I'll work into my user rotation eventually.
I'm pocketing the folding version today. It's one of a few CS folders I picked up over black friday. Handled a Recon 1 and realized it was pretty close to a choil-less lockback Manix, and from there I found a few others that caught my interest.
Already did some test chopping and batoning, and this is a beast of a folder. Not the longest blade I have in a folder but it's a stout 5mm thick spine & lock.
