Peter, isn't the SKU for the Chinook2 just C63G? That's what the Spyerco website says

http://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=22

If not, then we already have that SKU since it's the same as the original

I see the point ;)

Fact no1: Spyderco website for Chinook 2 is wrong (they show wrong model, the later introduced Chinook 3 with FFG-blade!)
Fact no2: This is a special case, as Spyderco uses the same SKU for two different models; see below -
Fact no3: C63GP is the correct SKU for both models with plain edge

I am a peaceful man and don't want to make other people troubles ... we all forget the Chinooks and here is a new model to match. Sorry for confusion :)

The Chinook 1 & 2 are knives I have been keenly waiting to see.

But it worked out well; :) seeing them both in the same photo was great.

Oh I just realized, we need to add the C173 Hungarian Folder into the list of SKUs that haven't been used! I believe it's started shipping out and some people could have them already! Hooray a new SKU!

Also, unrelated but I saw the Blue Nishijin Fiber Cricket is up on the online Spyderco Catalog so we should be seeing it drop soon!

Civilian and Matriarch use the same number as well and they are more different (at least to me) than the Chinooks.

One must consider that there is a difference between model number and SKU. Let me explain:

C12 is model number for Civilian and Matriarch and if you only know the model number, noboday can't say whether it is Civilian or Matriarch. For a better difference you need the exact SKU, for example C12S stands for Civilian serrated with bare aluminium handle and C12SBK stands for Matriarch serrated with black FRN handle.

So normaly each different model has its own SKU. But this logical data structure does not work in case of C63GP. To my mind Chinook 1 and Chinook 2 are different models, but share the same SKU. Chinook 3 has its own SKU C63GP3 and therefore Chinook 2 should have in consequence C63GP2 or C63GPS3 ...
