NFL Season: 2019-2020
Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020
Yep!! I've come to the conclusion that Jason Garrett must have something really dark on the Jerry Jones  . Why this guy hasn't been given his walking papers already is so baffling to me I believe it's got to be something along these lines. Especially with all the great Head Coach candidates out there currently on the open market. And these guys won't be unemployed very long either.
When the Cowboy's organization has an opportunity to get a coach of the caliber of Mike McCarthy or Eric Bieniemy but yet stalls on it just doesn't make good business sense at all. I can only speculate what type of leverage Jason Garrett has on Jerry Jones but it must be really juicy  :D

Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020
He's got a pic of Jerry without his toupee on lol
Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020
No SpyderGirl I think it goes a lot deeper than that. I'm beginning to think that Jerry Jones must have been involved with that Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
It's either that or something almost as dark. I'm wondering if Garrett has a photo of Jerry Jones and Ghislane Maxwell in a very compromising manner  Or even some truck stop trixie for that matter :D I'm wondering now if Garrett is going to be back for the 2020 season>> GOD help The Cowboy fans
Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020
Nah he cares more about his toupee trust me... Plus there are already pictures of him on the internet in compromising positions with women that aren't his wife.
Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020
Haha! I honestly feel terrible for Cowboys fans today. The fact that there's a second meeting is clear that Jerry isn't ready to let him go. This is just insane. Their going to continue to waste all that talent on team, many players in their prime, with mediocre coaching and management.Spydergirl88 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2019 6:55 pmNah he cares more about his toupee trust me... Yeah I feel sorry for the Giants too bc they are sticking with Gettleman... Plus the Redskins are stuck with Dan Snyder and the Eagles are very up and down as well. Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020
Well here it is NEW YEAR's EVE>> Dec 31, 2019. Just a few more hours left in 2019 and by the way I wish everyone of my Spyder-Brethren a very Happy New YEAR  . But what's got me baffled at the moment is why they haven't axed Dallas Cowboys lackluster head coach Jason Garrett as of yet   I thought for sure his head would be one of the very first to roll after the conclusion of the regular NFL season
And a dismal and borderline disgraceful season it was in Cowboy Nation.
Well I've now come to the conclusion that Jason Garrett does indeed have something dark and embarrassing that he's holding over Cowboy's owner Jerry Jones. I'm going to stick my neck out predict this>>> If Jason Garrett isn't officially gone within the next 5 days I'm completely certain he'll be back next year. This just doesn't make any sense at all especially with the superb line up of potential head coaches out there to replace him with   .
I sure wouldn't want to live in Dallas at this time. Because the fans I've talked to here in KC are completely livid and don't ever want to see Mr. Garrett again as a head coach. And I can't blame them. If he isn't given the boot it's going to get ugly I can assure all of you. I just don't get this one at all

JD,
I think it just may come down to your Chiefs and the Ravens in the A.F.C.
I really hope the Chiefs win it all this year. They're due...

Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020
Well thank you so very much MAC :) Lord knows I've taken a verbal beating from these Patriot fans this season  :D Sure glad we won that game because I would have never heard the end of it :p :D
But it's all good and we're all having a good time this NFL Season. Can you all ever remember a year in which so many back up and rookie QBs stole the show??? I can't even remember anything close to what I've seen this season with young Quarterbacks.
And hey MAC???? Why do you think that the Cowboy's organization are not firing Jason Garrett  ??? I'm worried for the Dallas Faithful because if they don't give Garrett the ax very soon I do believe we might just see riots in the streets of Dallas. Again I would give anything to know what deep dark secret Garrett has on Jerry Jones>> it's got to be something super embarrassing or really juicy :D :D

The Pat's have had plenty of glory.
I really like to see the Chiefs take it all.
And, no, I haven't seen anything like what you've described.
It's pretty wild!
As for Jerry & Co., I think for sure he will fire Jason. It's just imo anyways, Jerry wants to keep us in suspense and make a big production out of it. Just silly as all get out, meeting with Garrett multiple times before he fires him.
Now, it's possible he retains Garrett, but not probable imo.

Lol, he sure did clap a lot! That's funny :D
Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020
All I know is he better not come to the Giants! Last thing I want to see is him clapping away when we're down 21 in the 4th quarter!

Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020
With his mediocre, lackluster resume I can't even imagine what respectable football organization would touch him with a 50 ft pole
He's just one on a long list of guys who was a really decent coordinator that just couldn't get it done as a head coach. GOD knows the Chief's organization has sure had their share of those bozos  i.e. Romeo Crenel, Todd Haley, Gunther Cunningham and I could go on longer with the coach failures that the Chiefs have endured over the years.
I think he could get an offensive coordinator's job but I don't see anyone with even two brain cells hiring him as a head coach. I just can't believe that Jerry Jones put up with his failures as long as he did

If I were Jerry Jones, the 1st person I would call would be Dabo Sweeney of Clemson. Prolly couldn't make him budge from Clemson, ( I think Dabo will replace Saban, when Saban retires ) but it would sure be worth a shot. Imo, Dabo Sweeney is at this time the best College if not including the Pros the best coach in the game right now. Its utterly amazing what Sweeney has done at Clemson. The players would kill for him....
Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020
OK MAC and respectfully I see where you're going. And maybe you're right in one sense. But if I were the "Grand Poobah" i.e. Jerry Jones I would want to restrict my selection to lineup of candidates who have "Been There, Done That" >> and the biggest name I've got on that list is Mike McCarthy :cool:MacLaren wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 1:09 pmYa know what Joe,JD Spydo wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 11:05 amWith his mediocre, lackluster resume I can't even imagine what respectable football organization would touch him with a 50 ft pole

I truly believe Big Mike could take that current roster might just go Superbowl his first year. Because McCarthy is not the timid "Don't Take Any Chances" type coach that Jason Garrett obviously was. I believe Big Mike is the one guy that could really get the Cowboys the prime time respect they used to have. Oh Sure I could name off at least 3 college coaches that might do well in the NFL ranks. But for a team like the Cowboys I would want someone who is a true tested NFL coach. And GOD knows that Jerry Jones could afford him too.
Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020
Can you all believe this Bills-Texans game  This is a defensive battle that reminds of somewhat of the 2000 Baltimore Ravens. I really hate to see anyone have to lose this game as hard fought as it has been.
I sure want to see the Titans pull off an upset in the second game. Hey YOU ALL AWAKE OUT THERE!!! ?????? :D

Take a proven NFL coach over a College coach.
I can see that. But, if I were to gamble on a college coach, it would most definitely be Dabo Sweeney.
Furthermore, I think you may have nailed it with McCarthy!
I really cant think of anyone else. For me, it would be him or try to get Dabo out of Clemson.
