POV: Seeing Deceased Loved Ones

This short video is a light-hearted and compassionate look at what someone (especially in the late stages of life) might be seeing when they report seeing deceased loved ones at their bedside.

I was the caregiver for my mom for several years, and full-time the final year before she passed in 2019. Late one night, maybe a month before she went into the hospital for the last time, I heard my mom carrying on a conversation by herself in her room. And it was a conversation; I could hear her speaking in what sounded like complete sentences, then pause a bit, as if listening to someone, then resuming speaking, asking questions, waiting for answers, etc. It was the first time I had heard her speaking easily and able to carry on a coherent conversation, in flowing sentences, in a long time.

I went into her room and asked who she was talking to. She said, "Harry. It's Harry. He's standing right there" (pointing towards the foot of her bed). Harry was her older brother (my uncle), who had died maybe a year or two earlier. Interestingly, in life, my mom and my Uncle Harry were friendly but had never really been close, because of the age difference (Uncle Harry had been several years older). OTOH, my mom and her younger sister had been very close, and her sister/my aunt had passed away 3 years earlier. If anyone would have appeared to my mom, I would have thought it would be my auntie, but it wasn't.

Of course, I couldn't see Uncle Harry. But I do recall a bit of a cold spot in her room (the weather wasn't chilly that night) where she had indicated he was standing. Apparently, he left when I came into the room, because after I walked out, she lay there silent, then went back to sleep. I would estimate this was within 2 months before she passed.

I do believe that for many people who are approaching the late stages of life, deceased loved ones do appear to them in some form. I do not believe they are simply hallucinating.

Why Does a Narcissist's Eyes Turn Black?

I will admit that I've never personally seen anyone's eyes, including the sclera (white parts), turn completely black, but I have heard many accounts where people have reported this phenomenon. In the past, I have known some who could be considered narcissists/psychopaths, and one time one of them was sharing a laugh with me, and cracked up at his own joke. I laughed along with him, but was studying his eyes. They never turned black, but it was as if the rest of his face, which was laughing, was only a mask, a facade; and that I could see something else, the real thing inside of him, glaring at me through his eyes, studying my reaction. This was well over 30 years ago, and I never forgot. It hadn't scared me, but simply gave me an insight into such people.

IMO, there is more going on with people like that than merely a bad upbringing. There are many cases of narcissists/psychos who were born into very loving, supportive families. My suspicion is that a certain percentage of evil people were born evil. If good souls can take on a human incarnation, it's only reasonable to assume (and it is an assumption on my part) that evil entities, however you may refer to them, can also incarnate in human form.

'This Woman Was Able to Capture the Clearest Images of a Fairy Ever Taken'

Real pics of fairies or not? I don't know. I'm not gullible, but I do believe that beings that fall under the umbrella term 'fairies' (faeries, fae) exist. They exist in many forms, and have been called by various names literally all over the world.

Most people will say that fairies are BS, and would laugh at me for believing that fae exist. Or they would say that anyone who believes in or claims to have seen them are mentally defective, or are "on something." I don't give a crap what anyone 'might' think about my beliefs. I believed my dad. And my mom, who had been a lifelong skeptic, until a brief glimpse of some tiny, shadowy beings dancing around my dad, changed her entire paradigm of what is and isn't possible.

Are they all "loving" in nature, as the woman who allegedly took the photos claims? I don't know; I highly doubt it. Throughout history, fairies, or fairy-like beings, were feared the world over, and probably with good reason. I would imagine that some are good, some are not so nice; some are evil, and most probably fall somewhere in-between; neither overly 'good' nor overly 'evil', just like the varying natures of human beings. I believe they are interdimensional, non-physical or semi-physical beings, as opposed to merely being unknown physical beings.

I'm not certain if I already posted this particular video in this thread or not (I highly doubt that I did), though I do remember at least one of the photos before. But I'm too lazy to scroll back through this thread to check.

I've personally experienced poltergeist activity right in front of my eyes, only a few feet away from me, with nobody else around. TBH, I don't find poltergeist activity, in and of itself, to be unbelievable, or even particularly amazing.

I have heard many similar accounts of people who seemed to have temporarily slipped into alternate dimensions or realities. I've wondered for years if this type of phenomena is what happens in (at least some of) David Paulides' Missing 411 cases. And that many of the mysteriously recovered dead didn't survive the experience or were killed; and many who vanished forever simply couldn't cross back over.

Regarding the first account in the video: In David Paulides' Missing 411 cases, there have been numerous instances of people who vanished under unexplainable circumstances while out walking their dogs in the wilderness, and the dogs were found alive and well, but the people were never recovered. Nor were any traces ever found. And neither the person's dog, nor search and rescue dogs, were able to track a scent.

This video is excellent. If it happened as they reported, I wonder if they had temporarily slipped into, and became stuck in, a "moment in time" in the past, or possibly in an alternate dimension. Which might possibly explain the extreme stillness and quiet, even of the ducks they saw.
