I think 3V was made fore a fixed blade mule. It should be a forgiving steel that you could push hard on a fixed blade. Maybe even a 3V Mule XL... just saying.

Oh wow! I’d love a 3V mule. That would be ideal and perfect for a fixed blade EDC. Yes please! And thank you for the response. Hopefully this happens but if not at least I got a positive and hopeful response.

Perhaps the best time for a 3V Mule would be when we start seeing Erasteel-sourced sheets rolled by Niagara and truly get to test the newest version of the steel. I think that would translate best to what we could end up seeing in other knives, should the performance be successful.
I would sign up for one.

I'm kind of shocked .
I was over on the Spyderco Home Page and pulled up a few alloys to compare side by side . While I was at it I added 3V to the chart .
. . . under one percent Carbon . . . 0.8 percent . . . never would'a thought it .
Oh well ; works very well for me .

You’re right, a Mule in 3V does make the most sense.
I’d love a Bodacious in 3V, I’ve said that several times, but in that regard a Shaman, Manix XL, or a newer release of something like the Chinook really makes more sense in a folder for that steel.
Or….how about a thin super slicey Gents knife like a Caly 3 ground to 2.0 or 2.5mm? Just spitballing here cause I’d really love to see a folder in 3V.

A 3V Mule, absolutely. I have five Mules, and none are even close to 3V.

3V , Dark Green G-10 . . . . . . . .
Endura !
(lots of jimping on handle spine for quite a ways like the present Endura , no sculpting of finger groove on the underside of handle. You did it on the K390 G-10 Police you / can leave the underside of the handle alone on the Endura ) .
I know , I know , you all are already set up to do only FRN Enduras .
I had to say it though .

So....what you're asking for is something other than an Endura
As Sal mentioned, the Seki models in G10 can get pretty pricey. They did a Delica in G10 for SNK and the dealer had trouble selling all of them.

Yeah, would be nice indeed!
Though from my limited practical experience with both steels I´d actually even more so prefer
4V for an Endura... I have 3V in a small, stout fixed blade which I use for crazy things (much more for just testing it and fun than out of need tbh) which I would not do with a folding knife...
