For anybody excited about the 15V Military 2, they must not be too far away... I got a backup 15V Para 3 G10 and it came in a box meant for the 15V Military 2. Production code notes December 2024, and I think my 15V Para 3 with the correct box was marked the same.

I'm more interested in the Manix 2, but if the military is next up maybe that means it's after!

Just got a Para 3 in a Military 2 box myself. I wonder if I will get a Military 2 in a Para 3 box in the near future?

I think I'm ready to take the plunge on a tool steel and get one of these Native 5's. It's tempting to go with the G10 model now that I see it's only 0.7 oz. (18g) heavier, as I've never owned a G10 Spyderco.

Decisions, decisions.

I bet there is more than a couple that got boxed up wrong. That's unfortunate, I second sending it back to Spyderco directly, so they can swap this all out for you.

Heck I hope this don't delay the M2's coming to market, I sure want one of those lol...

Unlikely to "severely" hurt resale for a desirable limited run especially when the issue is documented at release on forums like this.

See for e.g. the Benchmade 806BK-1101 that came with a "TSEK" label instead of "AFCK"... People wanted M390 axis lock AFCKs badly enough (and they made less than 1000, satin+BK) that I can personally confirm the label misprint did not hurt resale.

Box doesn't affect me that much, long as it's a genuine Spyderco box.

They are on preorder at Indiana per his listing. I used this process to grab a knife from them previously and it was perfect. Good shop to deal with for sure. Just fyi.

Ah ok didn't notice that part, just noticed that it allows you to add one to cart.

Looks like Bento Box Shop has the same preorder, with an estimated shipping day of Feb 4th.

Yeah I got a Para 3 from Indiana, overall solid experience.
But same with Bento over the years. I think people just avoid them because their site looks like it was made on geocities netscape in 1998.
