Our season's been pretty slow. 3 bucks were taken, only one we had on camera but no real monsters. It was 82 degrees and windy for rifle opener. I haven't had a chance to hunt below 50 degrees... just a crazy warm season this year.

Seen lots of does and a few small bucks. Our guys took a huge 2.5yr old 9pt and another bagged an older 12pt.

Have another nice one on camera but going to wait till it's colder to chase em
Knice! 👏 I’ve only gotten the chance to hunt twice because of work and the warm weather but I did miss a prime opportunity when I got greedy…it was the second week of bow season and I had #’s 4 and 5 on my hit list underneath me @ less than twenty yards relaxed and feeding in the food plot giving me broadside or quartering away shots for probably 10 minutes or so when my #1 came in at the opposite end of the plot…I ranged him at 47yds but he never gave me the right angle nor did he get any closer…light slowly faded and they all just eased back out into the woods while I sat there dumbfounded…lesson learned 🤔

Manixguy that's a bummer, hope you can still find time to make it out.

Salty I've been there. Work kept me home but then I saw this guy daylighting... always the case.

Got some late season daytime action happening and our biggest buck on camera is still around apparently. I was supposed to hunt this weekend but I'm down with a nasty chest cold... thinking I might tough it out and go tomorrow and chase this one...

Would a folding knife with 440 A stainless blade, liner lock, and aluminum handle be good for butchering deer?

That's a big kitty. A for knives i use a mule for gutting and quartering and a bunch of sharp knives for deboning and processing.
