I think I did it… I think I managed to get an order in! That was the most enjoyable three and a half hours I’ve ever spent purchasing one single knife.

Now I need to go stare at a bottle of whiskey and wish I still drank. What a process that was!

It seems the dealer exclusives are better quantities of late. TKJ 10am Saturday drop is my 4am Sunday. I decided to sleep in and if they were still available, then it was meant to be. Probably not the best strategy.

FOMO got the better of me and I turned into a Scrooge during that drop… I tried to be patient but that went out the window fast! LOL It was frustrating in the moment but in the end patience would have prevailed!

And I agree, quantities definitely seem to be improving. From what I read on instagram, there was 1125 pieces available during this drop but that wasn’t from the KnifeJoker himself. I gotta give him credit for that though, he placed a good size order and even after the initial frenzy and the site crashing there seems to be plenty to go around. Had a two knife limit and they’re still available even now.

Also 15v dropped at sooner in the middle of all this crazy. Haha. It’s all good I never realized Fomo was thing till REC Avocado shaman 1st drop after blade show. I know the feeling.

There's 542 left as of a minute ago. It'll be interesting to see how long these stay in stock. Their last Shaman drop hung around a while.

Watched the Portugal vs Morocco game at about midnight, then slept for a while. Woke up at about past 2 AM, checked the drop, got site error. Slept again for another hour, woke up again. Site was working and got one in cart. Checkout was a breeze except that using KJ points seemingly didn't allow for the free shipping option.

Anyhow, just relieved this is out of the way. I don't think I'll ever be interested in another KJ exclusive again except if it's a Para 3 LW or a Dfly/Jester in these colors. Come to think of it, why haven't they commissioned a Jester yet? Seems perfect for the dealer.

This would definitely get my interest, seeing that a green FRN and coated Cruwear Dfly already seems too similar to DLT's Cruwear exclusive. But I can't imagine how expensive it would be, given the cost of making G10 knives in Japan.

It is a great model. If that wire clip didn’t bother me I would be in on it. Lil native back lock would have been a 2x buy. I get that more people like the comp lock.

You can always change the stock wire clip with Lynch clips made specifically for wire clip models
