Seems like a significant cost savings to drop the liners all together. Looking forward to seeing a linerless blurple. If BHQ comes though with M4 Jade linerless that would be awesome.

Too many varieties of the gorgeous Native knife? Such a thing is not possible, they are all awesome and lovely and it's great to have such a rich variety :D
True, unfortunately not enough money.

I hope that you are correct, still I like back lock more. I like Shaman, but I wish it would be a back lock.

I thought about this and frankly I am not sure about cost savings. To have better idea I need to take one of linerless apart. There are no liners, but it looks like scales have metal threaded inserts for screw, which can cost material and labor wise the same.

Hey guys I’m late to this discussion. Does anyone know if the linerless g10 Native 5 is thinner or did they compensate with just thicker g10 to make it the usual .43 inches.

Is there a strength difference between the liner and linerless versions of the CPN S35VN with the G10 scales?

I bought a linerless version on Amazon thinking it had full liners...

Anyone know of any dealers that still have the G10 S35VN Native with Stainless Liners in stock?

So I guess the S110V is going to continue to be made with liners since we havent heard otherwise. I wonder if that means that a dealer could do an exclusive that has liners? I mean the linerless is ok and I'll still buy them, but I would like to see a few more runs of the Native with the liners. I think something like Cruwear would work well with a Native with liners. Id really like a Native in 3V with DLC blade, hardware, and liners, and Red G10. That would be such a sweet knife! I wish the BHQ Native would have had the liners and DLC coated liners, blade, and hardware. I still bought it though and I still love it the way it is.

Confession time...the linerless G10 (M4 and now S35VN) Natives I have are growing on me. I guess at this point i'm good with either and neither would be a deal breaker on future models. I am still hunting for an old stock S35VN with liners to go with my S110V. Heck, if they CQI'd the S110V to linerless i'd probably grab one of those as well. Any Native is a good Native! :) A linerless Rex45 Native with DLC sounds pretty good right about now. Linerless Red G10 with DLC M390 would be killer as well!

Did these go into production already? Would most dealers have this model now?

Just heard that GPKnives has these in stock now (linerless) but they are in CPM-S30V instead of CPM-S35VN. I just ordered one. I think they are editing the site right now to update things but I imagine it should be back up shortly.

I guess I'm in the minority who likes steel liners.
Not thrilled with this change, if I wanted linerless I would buy a lightweight version...

Oh well, I suppose I have enough old ones to last a lifetime :)

The s110v version will continue to have liners if you don't have one of those yet

Sorry, I don't like it without liners. I'm very glad when I bought mine, liners were still included.
