I got a dodo in CF in very good condition, but if they go on sale I would buy another one again. In another color that is not black it would be perfect

I heard a rumor that there might be one down the pike. I'd have to confirm though.

Please, oh Spyder Overlord, make a Dodo 2 with a compression lock.

Now I'm completely content with the original ball bearing lock myself. Actually I find that ball bearing lock to be easier to implement on the Dodo model than I do many other locking systems. I just want more than anything to have one made in Spyderedge and hopefully have a new one made in a different blade steel.

The original G-10 handle on the Dodo feels like it's tailor made for my hand. The Dodo will probably be in my JD's Top 10 for years to come.

It seems "we" put so many demands on Spyderco, changing what was and is a winning combo might hold things up
when if all they need is to go back in production, let it be done.

Then while everyone is playing with their new toy, Spyderco can design another lock type DoDo.

Love the Blade, love the looks. In my opinion, this knife was made to be held with the forefinger in the choil and the thumb on the spine. Unfortunately, the finger grooves don't really fit me in the choked up position. I might buy one anyway because it's a classic. Maybe I could do a mod on the handle to remove the finger groove. Make it more like the Yojimbo 2 handle that EvilD modded maybe.

A design ahead of it's time that deserves another day in the sun. I don't have a particular steel or handle material or color in mind. I'm sure the good people at Spyderco will do right by this classic when it's time.

yeah I agree I just hope my cries for another Spyderedged Dodo don't fall on deaf ears. The Dodo with TEETH is a completely different tool all together.

I wonder when they are going to anounce the price. I'm really hoping to snag one of these up.

Would spyderedged and DLC blackout be possible? Either way if it gets teeth I'm in.
