Either way I won't let an ounce change my mind. I am a loaded pockets kind of guy and won't be able to tell the difference either way. This one is going straight into my back left pocket with the 204p Military in the back right. Dark green is my favorite color and this pair is gonna be great, even if it is over half pound of knives. :D
I can confirm from mine that it's skeletonized.

I had an early pre-order in from KC, it was ready to ship today but I cancelled it because I found the Caly elsewhere. So if someone down the line was waiting for their pre-order to be fulfilled you may get lucky

Bdubs - you are correct. I just spoke with Knifecenter. Looks like an inventory glitch on their end. When someone else cancels a pre-order, it shows as inventory for a little bit. They fill the pre-orders in the order received (as they should). I am in the back of the line :eek:

This same thing happened to me yesterday with the Cruwear Para3, order went through fine but then status changed to preorder on my account. I asked them and they said sorry, we won't be able to fill that order.

I called KC a few minutes ago and Janie told they had just filled my pre-order. I know they had been taking pre-orders for a long time and had a long list of orders. So I'm kind of surprised that they had any left over for additional sales.
Edit: Disregard. I see now that you guys were told their system has a glitch.

I Confirmed it with Spyderco and was told thr sample they had weighed out at 4.1 oz.
Someone over on BF just posted that they got theirs and it weighs 3.1oz

What was the date/time of your order, if you don't mind sharing? I'm believe I was in the early preorderers, but I haven't received notification of fulfullment.
Passing on several opportunities at other dealers makes me nervous ever since I read about KC having allowed too many preorders a couple years ago. Having a tracking number on my preordered Para 3 makes me more hopeful that they're not gonna make that mistake again.

I just received shipping notice from KC a couple hours ago - ordered the evening of 11/18/16

My email tells me that my pre-order was placed at 4:10pm HST (7:10pm PST) on 11/18/2016. So today the email they sent me basically said that they were ready to ship it, but my credit card was expired. I cancelled because I found it at another dealer. Hope this helps out.

Thanks guys! Apparently, I didn't find out about the preorder until a month later than you two. I may purchase one from somewhere else if I can find one just in case. Thanks again!

My KC order was on the 20th/Nov, still not sure if that was early enough either so grabbed one from National, better to have one in hand than miss the cut off, now watch, my KC order will get filled too. :o

I put mine in on 11.19.16 @ 21:45 we'll see... :spyder:
