Those are Macaws? They are beautiful birds. I didn't know they flocked like that till I was down there. We saw large numbers making some sort of daily migration when we were up on the Nicaragua border.
When I was down there I was so excited to see Macaws and Toucans. By the third day I hated Toucans. They can make a lot of noise at the crack of dawn. That and the iguanas on the clay roof were my alarm clock down there.
That said, if I didn't have kid I would be your neighbor. :) Living the dream buddy!

Also, do you think a kangaroo would eat a bowl of spagetti with sauce if someone offered it to them?
Awesome Macaws Lance! If they are half as noisey as our cockatoo's I pity you!
Wish I could post photos but we get all sorts here. We have a mob of Kookaburras that live in a huge old gumtree outside our bedroom window. The cheeky buggers decide they'll all laugh in unison which is pretty cool but at 04:30 it's not too funny!

Or very smart. Days after I moved into my house I found this cardinal doing an imitation of of Poe's Raven on my back door. Kept showing up for days, perching on my door and tapping, till I bought some sunflower seeds and put them out. After that, he'd only tap when the seeds ran out. That went on for three years. Miss him.
