Having the cruwear Manix and millie, and recently picking up an M4 PM2, I will be offering my early cruwear PM2 pre-order spot to a friend who has not yet owned a PM2. I think at a certain point we can receive more joy in sharing our Spyderco love than only taking for ourselves. (Once we have a huge Spyderco collection to begin with! :D)

The status on KnifeCenter changed from "October/November" to "Currently Unavailable". My order status also says Delayed By Manufacturer. Hmm.

Also just noticed this info (was it there before?):

Sprint Runs
A Spyderco Sprint Run is defined as a limited edition production of any Spyderco product in a configuration different than what has been previously produced. It can include changes in the handle color, materials, blade steel, coatings, etc. This Sprint Run will be a limited to 1,200 pieces.

Disclaimer: Although we have a large quantity on order with the manufacturer, we are not provided with any details as to how many we will receive. We expect most of the pre-orders to be filled, however, cannot guarantee that all pre-orders will be filled. Orders will be shipped based on pre-order date.

I am done with Knife Center. Had a 40th Native on order, they kept saying it was on back order then they sent me an email saying I missed it because I never responded to their email. I never received an email. I don't like that impersonal level of service coupled with an email saying it was my fault when they probably took to many preorders. They lost a customer for life. I don't care how cool of a sprint they have.

Are you saying I might have missed out on it? I think I had my order in the first couple hours.

I've tried KC twice now. First time shipping came out to over $40 so I cancelled. This time for the CW PM2, all seemed good with their $9.95 to Canada but it wouldn't give me PayPal option so I entered money order and stated PayPal in comments. When they got back to me, after 2 emails, they directed me to another page that more than doubled the shipping costs. I of course cancelled again. If a light knife in a small package costs $24 to ship to Canada, what could they possibly ship for the advertised $9.95? Oh well, that's the last time I'll even look at there site to order. I'll just take my chances ordering in Canada I guess.

They told me that Paypal cancelled their agreement, because they (Paypal) don't approve of their merchandise.

Hypocrite response if that's true. Paypal should look into their how many knives their eBay partner sells. ;)

Yeah I also found it strange. I know firearms are a huge polarising factor in the US, either you are for the 2nd amendment or vehemently opposed. I didn't realise it went as far as knives (assuming it's a "no weapons sales" policy).

I use PayPal for most online purchases, its the only way I've paid for a knife online through KW, KSF, W&W, and a few others. None of them have mentioned an issue with PayPal to me. Nor do they charge crazy amount for shipping to Canada. I guess KC just doesn't want Canadian business. Probably just as well, from what I've read, KC has really let a lot of people down with regards to pre-orders.

Yep and their International shipping must be the cheapest in the business. I got quoted $34 for FedEx to my door in Cape Town. Let's see. :D

I like the light gray with diamond pattern, but I LOVE this. Super stealth.

Seems like there's some confusion as to what the scales will actually be. Personally i'm hoping for the diamond pattern G10, I think it's much more unique.
