Yeah, I had four surgeries, lost a kneecap and my bike & rolled out with plates in my wrist and leg. Luckily I was paid in full for the time away. Spent a month in hospital, 3 months at home and just over a year of physio. Let's just say that I don't ride any more.

Been married for 35 years. The wife started highlighting the credit card statement when I started buying Spyderco's. Thinking on my feet I curtailed that problemo; I gave her a knife to carry (EDC).
