Super Blue Endura... Coming Soon to a store near You!
Hi RadioactiveSpyder,
Doitashimashte. Knives are forbidden to carry in Japan, though being a "historical blade culture", there are collectors.
When in Seki, which is a small town, I usually carry a Ladybug or Manbug, packages, flowers for my room, etc. but I do so knowing that I could get into trouble. In Seki though, meaning no harm and having a long history of working with the town, I doubt it would be a problem.
When in large cities, we don't carry knives.

That's what I was expecting, same as my Caly 3.5 ZDP. I think it'll make for an interesting patina effect, for example, to have an even dark patina all along the edge. I'm not into fake hamon lines particularly, but this might look something like an inverted fake hamon :)twinboysdad wrote:try about a 1/4 inch...

absolutely and should look good with patina. After Roger asked I went and measured the visable Superblue and it is slightly under a 1/4 inch but more than 1/8. Like I said, was hoping for a bit more. Add strawberries to the things cut for patina list!!GoodEyeSniper wrote:very visible line where the two steels meet?
