Yeps, this is C66 Vesuvius aka Centofante III. Vesuvius had a compression lock and the Cento has a Back lock, the rest is identical. But I like the old versions over the new. This is the first comp lock attempt of Spyderco if I'm not mistaking.

Damned this is one **** of sweet knife! I'm not a huge mid/backlock fan but I must say the improved backlock on the Native 5 is super smooth. Normally theres always a point it gets stiffer, the tension on the Native 5 is equal all the way and doesn't need a lot of force! Great job on the lock!

Nice detail how the the jimping on the lockbar runs onto the blade.

The scales are just amazing to look at and very nice to the touch! The are rounded towards the bottom which gives the knife a very confortable feel.

I was so stocked when the pre-order came available for pickup. That was in march!! I went 2 twice back and forth between the US and the EU. These where 3 nerve wrecking months but it finally arrived. I wants to exited about the N5 model itself but now that I handled it some more I really fell in love with it. Now I understand why Roman loves them so much :)
