The single greatest Spyderco of all time is... obviously - worker C01 - , born in 1981 (like myself) , that philosophy is used in every model that came after it , if it hadnt been a success , perhaps we wouldt be having this passionate conversations about Spyderco knifes today.

-the funny thing is that i have this post with the number - 81 - :) , that must mean something.

I think the greatest Spyderco of all times is the paramilitary 2 -it is maybe the peak in spyderco evolution of design and functionality .Blade -almost 3,5 inches useful in a variety of tasks even SD ,compresion lock -one of the strongest ,G10 durable and grippy ,safe lock, premium steel ,amazing price ,four way clip ,big lanyard hole ,superb ergos ! And The knife is BEAUTIFUL !!!

If you actually take a ruler to it you'll find that the para2 is actually just about 3 inches, not a 3.5 inch blade.

If it's sporting FRN and/or pinned construction, the extremely lofty title of "BEST. SPYDERCO. EVER" cannot apply.

For my tastes and in my ever-so-humble opinion anyway.

WINNER -> Caly (in some version) about 11 votes.
SECOND -> Military about 7 votes
THIRD -> Delica about 5 votes.

Runner ups: Stretch, Police.
Make it 12 votes for the Caly. (Caly 3 G-10 is my preference).

You must be confusing "cutting edge" length with "blade length." They are two different things. If I measure the entire blade length, which includes the exposed metal part at the base of the cutting edge, the total length comes to about 3-3/8ths and I've already sharpened away at least 1/16th of length.

The Para 1 has a shorter blade though.

Not sure, but I know the Stretch 2 was created based on his personal preferences, and the Caly 3 and 3.5 are some of his favorites as well. Also, the Native has been featured and carried by Sal over the years

Military 2, Paramilitary 3, Delica 5, Gayle Bradley 2, or the Native 5 would probably be my favorite :D in a more serious note, I like the Military the most as of today

The Stretch and Delica are right up there, though.

- best wishes, Jazz.
Oh yes! You may even throw in a titanium wireclip (prefferably anodized) :D

But what happened Jazz? Are you out of real knives and you have to post drawings? ;)
