No thinking necessary for me. One blue Manix 2 has just been sold.

I'd love to see a Carbon Fiber Urban or UKPK

no offense but i wish you had an "other" section on this, i prefer the japan Spyderco's over everything else, it always seems like they are built better to me..... or maybe im so old fashioned that i cant get past the way things used to be

I voted for the Manix 2 but I will be happy with what ever model Sal, Kristi and crew decide!

The Manix2 has had some great reviews both home and abroad. I think there are many of us that are impressed by Eric's designs. Manix2 is on many peoples list.

I asked for this as the forum knife without even knowing it existed.

Maybe we can get a Hawkbill Manix, then. :D

Or any heavy duty hawkbill with a ball bearing lock.

That's kind of a neat idea. Looking at my Manix there might even be enough room to fit a Hawkbill blade into the Manix package, but it wouldn't be a particularly 'aggressive' hawkbill. Something like a P'kal blade. Course that would require some new tooling for the different blade shape=not feasible for a forum run.

Unless it was custom ground by hand, that is.

The Superhawk didn't qualify as heavy duty? The compression lock is probably for all practical purposes as strong as the CBL. :D
