I dopn't have a Persistance, but I have three Tenacious and I see both models not as knives, but as tools before hand.

Cut a zip tie. Yesterday I used my Para to cut away vegetation around a rowboat someone was giving away.

Mail boxes here are something like PO Boxes. Carrier opens a dozen of them at at time from the back, we open ours from the front, with a key. Friend sent me a goodie in a Priority Mail "large video" box. That box is just small enough that the carrier can slip it through "his" end of the mailbox, but "my" end has a lip all around the inside, and that box cannot fit through it. Regular carrier knows not to put them in there, subs don't always. Only way to get the box out is to cut it apart inside the mailbox. Goodie arrived today, so a Kiwi just got a very good workout. :D No other mail, except an AGR catalog, so aside from the box, it's been a K05 day. Sliced an onion at breakfast time, and a bagel for lunch.

I tried to cut a guy in a fight but he had a tire iron and beat **** out of me but the knife was like new. He hit it several times in a fit of rage and I asked him if he was doing a test on it. No laugh, he hit me again:-)) :p

Spyderco Spin!
Cut a box that was too big for the baler so it would fit and sliced a battery pack open to see what cells it used (to see if we can procure them on our own).
