Here is a pic of my orange H1 Ladybug. I'll be pocket carrying this one with change\usb drive and what ever else makes it in there. I'll report back it a couple of weeks with a wear report.

Waiiiit. WHAT is that grey knife? Is it a new model? Details on that, please. It looks like the knife I've been waiting years for!

It's a G-10 Dragonfly, and it isn't actually grey but foliage green.

!?
Plain-edged Delica? All the white models came with serrations didn't they?

Don't tell me you reground it that nicely... That's literally perfection for me. It's a knife sporting a flat grind, the delica's handle, and highly visible, PC, yet very cool blue. The only way it could be better is if it was in H1.

My only knife with foliage green G-10 is a UKPK that I splurged on. I sure wish it were true grey G-10.

So they finally made a Dragonfly that is screwed together?! FINALLY!!
I've been waiting years for one that isn't riveted! And I spent some time off this forum and that must have been when it came out. Do they have it in any other G-10 colors?

Thank you for the quick info reply. :)

The bug is still there, leading me to believe that this is a blade swap.

It is a Blade swap for the reasons being the G-10 Delica handle is Heavy and the FRN Delica feels top heavy (blade).

I dyed a D4 PSWH orange last night. I disassembled the knife completely because I wanted to fully degrease the scales and backspacer. It came out great! I did a careful rinse/scrub afterwards. I haven't seen any dye issues yet, though it's a little early to tell.

Yep. I wish you could buy white scales as parts so we could experiment without buying a whole knife!

I wonder how RIT dye would work on white micarta, say the white Goddard Jr. for example. Has anyone tried it yet? I know it would be a costly experiment, but I'd love to see a purple micarta handle. :)

IIRC you can dye G10, Micarta is similar so I think it would work.

that tone of blue looks really cool on that delica up above, similar to the sprint blue zdp but different in a better way, to me

I thought I'd join in. I didn't realize how easily the white frn gets dirty. I carried mine only 2 days before I died it. I used navy RIT, but it came out a navy/purplish color. Not bad, though.

My RIT dyed spyderhawks are keeping their color very well. No more bleeding or anything just hold the black. Aslong as you don't scratch em REALLY REALLY bad they seem to hold the color extremely well

I would love to get black coated plain edge blades to add to RIT dyed handles.
