Oh those Austrians, they claim they are laid back but just look, the dust hasn't even settled and already the whip is cracking. :D

Put my order in with some super nice people. I know they were being bombarded at the time, but they were so cool and helpful, you'd never of known it. Now I'm looking forward to checking out this awesome knife, and seeing all the creative things everyone is doing with these. Gave a mule one to a friend who wanted a really good knife, now he's going to try and make the handle using a pool ball. Thanks to the Syderco team! :D

Got my mule today! I was bummed when I got the shipped email yesterday afternoon since I'm leaving for the weekend tomorrow morning and I was visualizing it sitting on the stoop all weekend. When I got home tonight, there it was! Unlike the 52100 mule, this one is liberally coated with oil. Does that mean that it rusts a lot easier?

I have a feeling it might. Most M4 is coated correct?
Will find out when my 2 get here how they hold up!
Might send one out for coating if it looks like its going to be a real problem.
Will try Birchwood Casey sheath 1st and see how it goes.

I was worried they would sell out fast!
Looks like there still available......

I placed a phone order for my MT02 today. I'd like to personally thank Lynette S. for her exceptional customer service. You are a breath of fresh air! Lynette has a great attitude and was a delight to talk to in general. Thanks Lynette....I extend my best regards.

I wish all companies had such quality in their customer service departments. I'd also like to thank Spyderco as a company, for providing us with such wonderful knives. Please keep them coming for years and years!!

Neither of my T-1 Mules have shown any rust, so I guess it depends on how one uses/abuses their knives. ;)

I finally - FINALLY - got around to buying some 550 paracord and wrapping the handle on my Mule #1. It had been wrapped in sticky gauze and when I took the cause off there was some very slight corrosion.

I briefly thought about taping off the blade and spraying the handle down with a protective paint to stop further corrosion. But, I did not want to wait and just put on some white lithium grease I had in the basement before I did the wrap.

I'd like to second your comments about Lynette; I just ordered my CC# MT02 as well with her, and it was a pleaseant and easy transaction.

I'd also like to recognize Karen for confirming my CC# status on the Mule Team Project.

And I couldn't forget Kristi for posting here on the forums to keep us knuts informed on the project as a whole.

Got my (2) today. Nice thin blade!
Forgot it was only 1/8".
Also, thought they were numbered?
Now to decide on the scales.

I am shocked there not all sold out!
$69.00 is a great price shipped!

Thanks again!

I placed my order on the Spyderco site, and got an order number etc. I however never got an order confirmation via email. Is this normal? Just wondering. Being a bit anal and all. :)

Thanks,
Dman
