I really like the BG-42 Military I just got and actually like the handles for a change (I think its because it feels stiffer than the G-10 version I had). The only thing I don't like is how thick it is. I wish they could do the carbon fiber as thin as the SS models or at least very close. If Spyderco could to that I might have a new favorite handle material. I wonder if it would still be strong enough in that thickness (it seems like it would)?

Hi Bodie, sorry I didn't back to you, but the Deacon took care of it before I could verify the question. Even if it is slightly thicker than the SS model, the CF Police carries the same IMO. I do have 14 years of SS Police carrying experience to bolster my opinion. Besides, it looks frickin' great!


To get back to topic, today I'm carrying a SE Centofante, and PE Yellow Atlantic Salt. If you are going to carry two knives, it seems like a good idea to endeavor to cover different knife needs so there you go. :D (besides I really like all the Centofantes and H1 steel rocks!

I love my current line up. It's going to take a steamroller of a blade to unseat any of these in the near future.~~~ JD

SS Endura 4, just about as close to "the one" as I have found, even considering all the higher end beauties.

OK, todays update, Police was changed for FRN PE Endura 3, backed up with ZDP Horn and SCF...

Police day for me, early G-10, linerless, PE.
