Wow! Some incredible entries this week, and theres a lot of them! Judging this week was definitely not easy, but as this weeks "Judge" I appreciate the effort put forth by everyone. I've gone through all of the entries and somehow managed to decide on a single winner and runner up. It really was a hard decision this week!

apollo - really liked this shot, and the puns that followed were pretty funny!
harronek - the GB looks AWESOME on top of the orange, it just pops and really looks good
DutchBlades - I always loved shots of the Southard!
kosta - I was totally expecting another shot of a Mule and was pleasantly surprised to see it, nice shot!
Mad Mac - Great context, the serrated edge really adds to the "work" environment for me.
remnar - Some really epic views in your shots! Wish I could see that display board a little better! haha
Liquid Cobra - Wow, thats a bright orange! definitely an attention grabber.
GuGalhardo - Really liked this landscape, your depth of field works really well here!
Nick Herrera - Awesome! Probably my favorite Spyderco up to this point. I love mine, can't get enough of it!
Kniferbro - Nice, really makes me want to float down the river in my kayak!
JohnnyGeek - A very cool shot and knife, Nice and rare too!
GoldenSpydie - That glare is like the "cherry on top!" Beautiful knife that just screams luxury, and this shot captures its essence very well!!
i am travvy - great shot! Really cool reflection!
JAfroMN - H1 will tough through any kind of dirt, sand, or mud you can throw at it! Nice!
Johnnie1801 - This shot defines utility very well! Cruwear manix, that's tough as ****, and what looks to be a nicely hand forged Axe! (Wish I knew more about axes in general!)
PayneTrain - I'm definitely a "dog person" so I'm a little bias with this one! haha love the shot though, and am fond of that saying! A Spyderco classic!
combatjiujitsu - Great shot of a spydie in use! Harder to get than some people might think!
Speedholes - Great shot! Feels like a photography studio shot. Also still trying to figure out whats in the background?
tdhurl1103 - Nice shot! The Double Bevel was always interesting to me, seemed like one for the more spydies in the lineup!


As I said, it was a very hard week to judge, but certainly was fun going through all of the entries! So after lots of back and forth, I've chosen the winner of this week to be GoldenSpydie. He had a great shot all around. Seems properly focused in all the right spots, the lighting was good as well. The glare paired with the carbon fiber really made for a luxurious feel. Also the background is nicely saturated, so it looks good but does not distract from the subject! Also the purple flowers add to the luxurious feel for me. A very sharp, nicely focused, photograph. Well done!

Runner up this week is Mad Mac! I loved the context shot "at work". When I first saw this shot, I had the impression that it was taken in a work environment! The SE Tenacious also has a very utilitarian look, which looks to me like its ready to do some hard cutting, only adding to the context! I personally am a big proponent of having meaningful context in my knife pictures, and your shot does that well! Great shot!

Again, thanks for letting me judge this week! I had a great time judging, but I can't wait to get back to taking some of my own shots to enter each week!
