Me too. I would have gladly had this sprint instead of one of the many Manix and PM2 ones.

Thought this was due for a little stir since we have conformation that the orange dodo was at the usn gathering this summer and handled by our fellow members! :D

Orange Dodo FTW!

I'm thinking the orange g10 will look great after a soak in some red dye. Hmm....red and brown dye to make burnt sienna?

I'd file this under the unsubstantiated rumor tab, but I hear that the orange Dodo may have some company in the form of a black CF version. Personally, I wouldn't mind one bit if the CF version came with an upgraded steel as well. Even if not true, I can hardly wait for this bird to be brought back from extinction.

i only recently discovered the awesomeness of spyderco about 9 months ago. i have a nice collection now, but i have missed a lot of good knives, especially sprint runs. it actually keeps me up at night knowing that there are knives out there that should be mine.....so sad!
anyway, i have seen many pictures of the dodo and i want one! i don't care what color, though g10 orange rocks! i just want a dodo. PLEASE MAKE THEM!

Sweet rumor. I need one in addition to two orange. :)

I've had an order in since last January (at the Shot Show) after talking with Eric. Just to cover bases my order included 4 Dodo's, 2 orange with PE and SE, and 2 CF with PE and SE. I'd love to see them soon!!

i would love to see a "dodo" style slipit it would be a great edc over here in the uk

Can we verify the CF rumor? If so that would be awesome. I'm not a huge fan of orange.

I'd really be up for a CF Dodo. And I'm so not a fan of orange handled knives.

I realize this might sound a bit grumpy or antagonistic, but does it really take over 2 and 1/2 years to move a knife from prototype to store shelves? I am anxious about it, but mostly I am just really curious.

Yes, it does when it is in queue behind so many other great models and sprints they are producing.
