Same here - looking forward to carrying on desert hikes in a couple of weeks.

None at the moment. It's going to come down to which drops first, the S90V Yojimbo 2 or the Kiwi 4.
Or the Military 2?

Wow man that's a really old post lol. I did end up buying both of those knives but I traded off the Kiwi 4 in part because someone else missed their chance for one. I still have the S90V Yojimbo 2 though. I think the Military 2 is most likely my next purchase.

Yeah, I guess I missed the date on that one. Sorry about that. So how do you like the Yojimbo? It is not my cup of tea but it is very interesting.

It's a long time favorite. It was one that I carried quite a bit before starting to prefer larger knives. I think I have 4 of them.

Great deal on a beautiful knife. I have been eyeing that one and the Pattada for a while, thinking they would be a joy to just carry and look at, but functionality (for me) would be limited. Not pulling the trigger on a price that good tells me that I will not be owning one of these. Congrats on your resolve being obliterated :smiling-heart-eyes

Backpacking? I'm interested in your experince(s) (PM me if you wish) I hope to get out west of San Diego this fall. I'm usually out where I have more chance of drowning or attacked by killer beavers :rofl than lack of water.

Magnacut native was supposed to be here yesterday, but the tracker still says it’s in AL 😭. Maybe a miracle will happen and it teleports to my mailbox in TX

"West of San Diego" could be pretty wet! no backpacking these days - mostly PacNW day hikes, but 1-2 times a year I visit family in SW Colorado and return home in much better shape. Plenty of up-close encounters with cactus needles.

I have a couple of well-used Ladybugs in the mail. Looking forward to cleaning them up for another 20+ years of work.

:star-struck

I don't think many 15v BBB folders made it to Canadian retailers. They got snapped up quick, and were relatively expensive compared to my daily wage.

I'm very thankful the 15V BBB Mule happened and I have 2 on the way. They are in my paygrade and won't get stopped along the way.

A fully dressed 15V BBB Mule is on the way. It's only my 2nd Mule, my first one being the 20CV.

That's one Taiwan model that I've been on the fence on for a long time. The price is good but I've been abstaining from buying more knives and I already have a whole bunch more Taiwan models that I prefer. I'll have to watch and see if there's a better price at some point

Ill ammend and add the Illini to the list. Blue could be darker for the beloved. Either way, I love the knife and glad to add the Rex45 blade to my collection of Spydercos'
