Thinking about it some more, that Patriots/Chiefs game might have actually been the worst officiated NFL game
ever. The REFS THEMSELVES were personally responsible for taking 12 combined points away from the Patriots and a pass interference non call as blatant as the non call in the Saints/Rams game last year.
None the less, we're on to Cincinnati.
Well what about that "NON CALL" where the one defender drove Mahomes into those coolers on the sideline after he was clearly out of bounds>> totallly un-necessary IMO. That should have been a 15 yard penalty for certain.
But I do agree that the officiating this year has been abysmal throughout the entire year. The Evil Empire had their chance all the way to the last play until Breeland ruined it for them :) But on to the next game.
However if the Chiefs don't run the table for a more respectable record this season it's probably all a moote point anyway.

Mahomes was still inbounds when he was pushed and to be honest I'm surprised the refs got that call correct. It could be argued that he was going out of bounds anyway but the fact remains that he was inbounds when contact was made.
You're right that officiating has been abysmal the entire year though and it's a league wide issue. It's almost hard to find a game on Sunday where the refs aren't screwing something up. For the sake of the league, the NFL needs to do something this upcoming offseason to address their officiating problems.

How about Mike Tomlin and the Steelers!
Imo, Tomlin should win the Coach of the Year award.
Especially, if Pittsburgh makes it to the playoffs with their 3rd string QB. Wow.

I agree. he has had to deal with losing his #1 wide receiver, running back and quarterback and yet still gets his team ready every week and has a winning record and in the playoff hunt

I"ve been convinced ever since that Myles Garrett incident that the Steelers are going to make it to the playoffs. There was something about that atrocity that sort of got that team really motivated. And their back up QBs have done far better than I would have expected. I've been wondering if Big Ben will be back next year. And if he isn't I think they'll fill that void. Maybe they should get in the running for Cam Newton.
But the job that Tomlin has done in spite of the Antonio Brown and LeVeon Bell craziness is really something most coaches wouldn't have been able to handle. Both of those jerks are going to deeply regret leaving the Steelers. Heck LeVeon Bell hasn't even had one game over 100 yards this seson>> in spite of the suitcases full of money they paid him  Notice Andy Reid had no interest in either one of them.

If Tomlin Gets the Steelers to the playoffs he should be in the running for NFL Coach Of The Year. I've been really impressed how he has handled all of the soap opera crap that has been thrown his way. The more I think about it I believe they should try to get Cam Newton>> because I'm doubtful if Big Ben is even going to come back.

The Pats could have played better but two touchdowns taken away and a terrible no call on this pass interference.
I will say, Breeland's coverage on that final play was amazing!

To be honest JD, I feel Tomlin is already in the running, and actually leading right now. Getting into the playoffs would be the icing on the cake.
And, congrats on the big win in Foxborough yesterday.
That's the hardest place to win in the NFL.
There were some bad calls for the Pat's, but the Chiefs just played better imo.

That's great that the Chiefs won a big one yesterday but they are still in need of some better coaching and play calling. They should have had at least a couple more TDs in that game. And our defense is considerably better but they still got a long way to go to be consistent. But at least we got about 4 guys stepping up big time and we didn't even have that last year unfortunately.
Also the Chiefs really need to run the table on the next 3 games to gain any momentum into the playoffs and to gain any significant respectability to finish the season with. There were 3 games this seaon that we absolutely shouldn't have lost at all because of bad coaching IMO. But at least yesterday's performance was a huge step in the right direction, If we can devastate Denver here at ARROWHEAD this coming weekend I do believe we'll be in the driver's seat.

If the Chiefs could develop a running game identity at some point this season, it would DEFINITELY make them much more dangerous. Play action would be much more effective.

Oh I couldn't agree with you more. Kareem Hunt last year not only screwed us out of a Superbowl appearance but he also set back the Chief's running game something terrible. I don't think he's had a 100 yard game for Cleveland yet at all. HE even screwed his own career up in many ways too.
However we did get Spencer Ware back who has historically been consistent and doesn't fumble hardly at all. We also have Darwin Thompson waiting in the wings and everytime he gets a chance he does well. Thompson did great in that Oakland game a couple of weeks back. He also did great in that Mexico City game against the Chargers too. I do think he has some potential.
Yeah if we had a Zeke Elliott or LeVeon Bell type back we would be going to the big dance I'm sure of it. But do keep your eye on Darwin Thompson.

Man, I'll miss watching Eli play.
Hes basically done what no one else has, with the lone exception of Nick Foles, and that's beat Tom Brady in the Super Bowl
And, lol, not just once, but twice!
Next stop for Mr. Eli, is Canton, Ohio.

I wouldn't have bet a dime on it even 3 weeks ago>> but now I'm starting to believe that the Eagles are going to win the NFC East division>> not that it really means anything but "One & Done" at this point but it seems as though the complete meltdown of the Cowboys is continuing right before our eyes.
The only hope for the Cowboys at this point is to immediately fire Jason Garrett and install Mike McCarthy ASAP.
I had picked the Giants to win this game but I will give the EAgles credit for being determined. What a strange NFL season this has been

Well I just listened to a local KC Sports Radio Station a moment ago and they just reported another "CHEATING" allegation pointing at???? You guessed it!!! The EVIL EMPIRE  Holy Popcorn Batman!!! Can't the EVIL EMPIRE ( Patriots) even get through a half of a season without being caught CHEATING
Don't have all the details yet but this one local sportscaster I listen to occasionally usually has his ducks in a row before he puts it out on the radio.
Well Well  I wonder what Emperor Belly Ache has got to say about this one?????
IF they are going to give Sean Payton ( head coach of the Saints) a whole year off for wanting his players to rough up Brett Favre then Emperor Belly-Check should get 2 years off IMO if he's found to be complicit in this new scandal.

Hahah I knew you’d have something to say about this. It sounds like nothing to me, but of course the witch hunt on the Pats is never ending.

And it might end up just being nothing when it's all said and done. But I did find it quite interesting that the local KC sports media went after the alleged scandal like Piranha fish.
On the other side of the coin I'm almost certain that being Robert Kraft and Roger Goodell being such buddies they will try to play it down as much as possible.
What did seem extremely strange to me right away was of all teams they were accused of filming> the BENGALS??? :D I would guess that would be about the last team anyone would need to spy on. But it's going to be an interesting side show for sure.
