Presumably a ”decent” number might need to be produced for the sake of financial viability at this kind of price point?

It would be interesting to know what sort of number that is - and vaguely how the stock gets distributed around the world. AUS seems to not be getting any, hence my looking overseas…

The m390 brown satin had around a 1000 pcs. Others like the burnt orange sprint had 1200. Some exclusives have been as small as 450. I’ve noticed they haven’t been telling us how many as of late.

Remember everyone, exclusives and sprints are two totally different things.

what time did they drop on Spyderco's website? A few hours ago it was "coming soon" and now "sold out".
I hope more are coming.

1200 for Rex 45 manix sprint. I can’t imagine it would be a lot more than that. That’s a good number for most to get one. I also noticed SFO says oos and not coming soon. Did anyone get one from there?

I ordered one form Grommetts two days ago when their website glitched and showed them in stock. I got a phone call after and they explained that they were not actually in stock. I was told that the manager contacted Spyderco and confirmed that they are receiving more and mine will ship, albeit later than usual.

I got to it before it said sold out. There was a qty option box but no buy/purchase button. I put a “1” in the qty box, pressed enter and it said the item I tried to put in my cart was sold out. Did it a couple more times with the same result. Any way, no idea if they really dropped or not. It was $225. I wasn’t going to purchase it but checking to see what would happen.

I wouldn’t be completely against paying that price to Spyderco later on as opposed to a reseller but it is way too early in the release for myself to consider that premium over dealer pricing.

i had one in my grasp and let it slip between my fingers. i chose to be responsible instead of buying a knife i don't need right before Christmas. i hope whoever gets it really enjoys it.

No luck yet. I think that Spyderco, Blade HQ, Knifeworks, SMKW have dropped and sold out. I think St. Nicks was saying coming soon and now says Out Of Stock/Unavailable (please correct me if I'm wrong) so I'm not sure if they've dropped them yet.

Several big online dealers still have Coming Soon!

All of the recent Sprint Runs were around for months and some are still available so I don’t see why this Manix2 15V Sprint should be any different. Initially, they trickle in and a couple of weeks later a lot more are available.

Looks like about 2 hours ago. Someone posted it on the facebook group and those guys obliterated whatever inventory the SFO had.

Us poor working schmucks had no chance.

The moderate price is definitely a factor. What we don’t know is how many were produced.

To me that seems to insinuate that there will be more models in CPM 15V than just the Manix 2 and BBB collab!

I think maybe like the burnt orange Rex sprints. Could be all those models.
