Ok now that I look at it, the Centofante does have a smaller "head" on the clip, but it's obviously/noticeably smaller. The clip on the Vallotton is only very slightly different, so little that I didn't even realize it until I tried to mount it on my Yojimbo 2 and the holes didn't line up.

If you compare the head of the clip in these two pics you can see they're shaped slightly different, the Vallotton is narrower at the head.

And sure enough the Gayle Bradley does indeed have the same clip as the Vallotton...which is a shame since it's such a great looking clip, I'd put them on everything I own.

I will compare my GB when I get home. I didn't realize that we were possibly dealing with a medium size that is between the two.

Well, crap... Doesn't really matter to me anyways, my EDCs all get deep pocket carry clips. Only the deep carry wire clips that are stock from Spyderco (Caly, etc) don't get swapped out. Used one on my S110V Manix 2 as well, seems like it should be the standard for that one IMHO. Thanks for enlightening me again David! Cheers, Radioactive :)

It doesn't appear they'll be selling out of them any time soon.
Which for me and prolly others is a good thing.
Gives a little more time to recoup.

I have email notification on my phone, nothing yet. I'm also not even looking forward to it...when it happens it happens. Right now I'm loving my Manix and going back and forth between it and my Southard.

Agreed, my anticipation for the crumillie burnt out my preorder-obsess conduit, just wondering because of the eta we were originally allotted.

I talked to them today. They said they have no idea when they're arriving.

Ugh...this is why I normally avoid pre orders, but that's the nature of the beast I suppose. I didn't really have my mind on it until today, but my phone has been blowing up with emails and I keep thinking "this is the one!".

I called in an changed my pre order from 2 down to 1. I'm still not sure if it was a good idea or not, probably not. My reasoning being that I hadn't anticipated the manix cruwear or the BBS domino. I figure since they aren't flying off the shelf I could try to get another yo2 when they get the next 400.

I hear you on the whole pre order business. The way I'm looking at it is that I wasn't expecting this knife until nov-dec so really, it's early :)

Liquid, I made the same move yesterday reducing preorder from 2 to 1. At this point it sounds like they still have enough available to hopefully get one in hand before committing to the second.

And like many others I was not expecting the cru manix and mule at exactly the same time.

Very curious on timing though. I thought they were certain on the arrival of the first 400 and it was any day now. I wonder what changed.

I have no idea, I shared this comment from Sal on the 26th of July
