I hope so too. I'm on that list and hope to get in on the action too. Not sure how far down the list I am though.

No, I got interested in this so late in the game I figured I'd be too close to the bottom of the list to have a chance to score a knife, but I got very lucky and managed to order a collector's numbered one for a somewhat elevated price, which you've probably seem me blabbing about :D :spyder: I expect it to arrive tomorrow.

Well i just snagged one from the backup list. KWs server was way slow. The shopping cart even threw errors for a bit. Took almost 15 minutes to push the order through. ugh. It went back to out of stock immediately after.

I like CF more so far, but this can be changed tonight, when I will receive my Green para

Interesting you said it was quite short. When I called last week asking them to verify my name on the list from last year sometime, they told me it was over 200 people long.

No idea how long the list was, I should have been no. 1 or 2 on the back up list...and I got the e-mail announcing the availability in the store a few days ago. At first I was upset, because, I was no. 1 or 2, but I got to thinking about it from a business perspective.
I wouldn't want my customer service reps on the phone calling 200 (or even 100) people to see if they were still interested in buying a product they had expressed interest in over a year ago. They sent an e-mail (and I deleted it at first, thinking that I really shouldn't buy it), but I found myself at the computer at 9 (8cst) doing something else and it just popped into my head...today's Thursday...something was going on Thursday at 9...oh, right, the PM2....argh, hurry up and load...stupid website...where's my credit card...argh...and finally got the confirmation.
I reloaded the site about 20 minutes later and it showed 'out of stock'...but there was a note that they had neglected to charge shipping and you could call to authorize it or they would be contacting people to get it authorized, also a scary note that they had been over sold. I called and gave them my order number and authorized the shipping (didn't even ask how much, it's a bargain regardless) and held my breath until she said "ok" which I took to mean that I wasn't one of the poor folks on the back-up list that thought they had won the PM2 lottery but didn't.
Enough rambling...looking forward to the shipping notice now.

Congratulations. I guess I'm irritated now that I was confirmed on the list but didn't receive any emails regarding the limited number they'd put up for sale.

Wow! This one really has the most drama.

Just ordered one today, they released them again this morning for 1 minute for those who were on the back up list. It wasn't in any order it was first come first serve. Super excited to have this knife ordered, as I missed the first release date, I was happy to make this one and I woke up early just to do it.

I have not been contacted yet. I knew this was going to be a fiasco as soon as I got the email. I figured there servers weren't going to be able to handle the load and they couldn't. Hopefully they don't try something like this again. We still have the S90V Manix XL and Yojimbo to get through.

Well, everyone who didn't get one, before complaining too much, just be thankful you're not stuck on a disgusting toilet of a cruise ship for days!

Meh I'd have been happy with an extra week off of work but I get your point :)

Have any idea what they got for their troubles? 500 bucks, free cruise voucher, free flights among others. Way off topic I know, but me and my friends were like heck ya besides it was ontheir last day it happened, they got most of their RnR.

How come there hasn't been a DLC Para 2 sprint?
Is it just time constraints or no orders for one? :D
