First of all, I wanna thank everybody who entered this week, this was super fun to take a look at all the submissions! This was also INCREDIBLY difficult to judge and pick a winner, last week was my first week of entering and as a judge this week I found myself debating heavily with 3 pictures. But now, here are the results:
Ladybug93 is first place with the beautiful Manix and the neat stone sharpmaker. Congrats!

You’re welcome lb, it came down to the backstory for me in addition to the knife scales….to me the knife is just part of the whole picture(no pun)…
Thx Salty! I am very glad my Chinook got youre attention!
You’re welcome apollo-I had to look up the knife to realize how rare it is….just started collecting REAL knives last year(December of 2021)w/a dfly h1 se so I only know a fraction of what all y’all know, but I do know spyderco is definitely my favorite brand and the Chinook is just so cool looking

Its indeed a rare sight nowadays that is why i needed to hunt it for so long.
But i can tell you the more you look up the old spydies the more you are going to want to find them. A new spydie is always nice but there are so many models out there that i can honestly say the next thing about. No way that spyderco can ever remake some of those ever again there are true gems out there that would make spyderco bankrupt if they would try and make those again.
And even if they would try its the question if they still have the necessary skills to make them offcourse.
Unless taichung would step in probably but that is kinda cheating
A gem it is…when I was looking into it of course for sale always comes up but every listing was from 2007-2011 that I found and all were sold…the only price I saw was $300 and that was a looong time ago

Great pic…I was in the tree service business for a long time and can really appreciate this pic…looks like a root burl on a red oak? Anyway beautiful picture I’d be partial to if judging

Correct, tree had veed many years ago and snapped on one side about 12 feet up . Park has many old nut trees and was mostly used years ago for cattle to browse until bought by town.
