Those scales really make me appreciate the Kapara . After handling them In CF I was not happy how slick the scales were , the Micarta would work for me . Dan

This week is akapennypincher posting his long time edc Rescue . Knife has a personality of its own with many stories with the user . I liked it . Dan

Runner up goes to a newly dressed up Kapara by JSumm . Rumors that he tried to bribe me with sliced Apples is not true , it was pork chops . Beautiful scales that is consistent with your ongoing color theme . I like that idea .Thanks to other entrants . Dan

you're not alone, brother. i need some of those scales on one of my knives pronto. i've been planning it for a long time, but keep putting it off for some reason.

you're not alone, brother. i need some of those scales on one of my knives pronto. i've been planning it for a long time, but keep putting it off for some reason.

That green looks so good with the blacked out hardware and blade Apollo! I like contrast.

The Green is such a rich shade , Jade G10 always reminds me of a Lima Bean . Dan

Really is. Not like highlighter green, but tone down enough and not too muted. Looks Fantastic!

Thx guys! The green scaled Manix is one of my very favorits not only for the scales themselves. ( Even knowing they were my very first set )
But the Dlc manix itself has e very precious memory to me. I bought this one together with my beloved brother on our last holiday together some years ago , we ditched the other family members for a day and took a little adventure together with his brother in law , me and my bro both bought a spydie on that trip to remember it. I can remember that day as like it was yesterday.

Thanks Jim! I had the idea for a shot like this since I got first got the knife. I was going for a Jurassic park type aesthetic. Took me a couple years to finally make it happen but I’m happy with how it turned out.
