Are there any watch lovers like me?

Seiko, omega, orient, and hamilton are some of my favorite watch brands.
longines conquest with green dial. My favorite of all time , and only automatic watch I own . I have a bunch of quartz watches, I find those very satisfying as well .

Forerunner 945 every day.

Didn't catch on right away when I bought it, but I've been using the activity tracking stuff a lot this year. Tracking miles run, steps each day, resting HR, using the breadcrumb trail feature when I explore wilderness areas, using the gps mapping feature to map out my personal trails, playing music off it when I work out or go to the skating rink, etc.

Still holding on to a couple of gshocks for when I want a basic watch, but I'm a garmin convert these days.

Been using it to track my kids runs around a local park. Got her signed up to the girls run team this year and we practiced together leading up to the season :fist-bump

What watch brand do you all recommend that is under 50 dollars for a reasonably durable model that if necessary the batteries and repair can be done by most watch repair shops ?

Hmm… The only sub-$50 watches I would buy would be Timex or Casio. I have 4 Timex chronographs, all quartz, so battery replacement can be done by a jeweler or myself. 100m wr, metal case, so reasonably durable. A Bertucci DX3, similar to the watch I posted above, is about $65-75, 50m wr, resin case, but still reasonably durable.

Thank you. I would only be using it as a general use time keeper and perhaps stop watch timer and if it has other features like thermometer that helps.

Yeah, check out Timex. They’ve got some great designs and you can find them at great prices online. They’re not fancy, but they work, otherwise I wouldn’t have bought 4 of them!!!😎😉
