longines conquest with green dial. My favorite of all time , and only automatic watch I own . I have a bunch of quartz watches, I find those very satisfying as well .

Forerunner 945 every day.
Didn't catch on right away when I bought it, but I've been using the activity tracking stuff a lot this year. Tracking miles run, steps each day, resting HR, using the breadcrumb trail feature when I explore wilderness areas, using the gps mapping feature to map out my personal trails, playing music off it when I work out or go to the skating rink, etc.
Still holding on to a couple of gshocks for when I want a basic watch, but I'm a garmin convert these days.

Been using it to track my kids runs around a local park. Got her signed up to the girls run team this year and we practiced together leading up to the season

Re: What watch you're wearing?
What watch brand do you all recommend that is under 50 dollars for a reasonably durable model that if necessary the batteries and repair can be done by most watch repair shops ?

Re: What watch you're wearing?
Hmm… The only sub-$50 watches I would buy would be Timex or Casio. I have 4 Timex chronographs, all quartz, so battery replacement can be done by a jeweler or myself. 100m wr, metal case, so reasonably durable. A Bertucci DX3, similar to the watch I posted above, is about $65-75, 50m wr, resin case, but still reasonably durable.SpyderEdgeForever wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2024 9:35 amWhat watch brand do you all recommend that is under 50 dollars for a reasonably durable model that if necessary the batteries and repair can be done by most watch repair shops ?

Re: What watch you're wearing?
Thank you. I would only be using it as a general use time keeper and perhaps stop watch timer and if it has other features like thermometer that helps.Aladinsane wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2024 9:44 amHmm… The only sub-$50 watches I would buy would be Timex or Casio. Re: What watch you're wearing?
Yeah, check out Timex. They’ve got some great designs and you can find them at great prices online. They’re not fancy, but they work, otherwise I wouldn’t have bought 4 of them!!!SpyderEdgeForever wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2024 9:53 amThank you.
